Love in Seven Languages

There are seven languages for love.  Love can be little whispers in your ear.  Love can take the form of a poem.  Love can be a gentle caress, a kind word or a shoulder to lean on.  Love expresses itself through form when we allow our hearts to open to it.  When love flows through us, we touch others and heal the world.

Love is gentle and kind.  When love shows compassion it embraces humanity.  We love when we eliminate the hatred in our own hearts for the men and women who do us wrong.  Love sees past imperfections.  Love sees past flaws.  When we love it means we love all things, all people and all places equally and united in stature.

When god created man, he created him out of love.  It is love that makes the world go round.  Love that creates another human being and love that sustains the planet.  The force of love is great.  Love can move mountains, light a fire in your heart and create lasting happiness.

We don't love enough in this world.  If we loved more we could see greater changes in our world.  Our systems of government would be based on love and compassion, not money or control.  Our families would embrace each other instead of pushing each other away and all the nations of the world would act in unison, as a unified world instead of one they seem to be trying to break in pieces.  A chunk of land here, one there and you have this one, another fights for that one.  When will it stop?  The divvying up of the world as if it's ours to claim in the hands of a few instead of all of ours, in all of our hands.  Will the governments care for the people, the oceans, the animals and the fish in the sea for centuries to come?  Or will we all begin to take responsibility for what is inherently our "earth".  United, one earth, one planet created out of one love.

The seven languages of love are simple.  If you practice them every day, I promise it will bring you joy and more love into your life.  The simple act of being love brings more love to us.

1.  Compassion
2.  Holding someone's hand
3.  Being there for someone
4.  Speaking kindly
5.  Whispering "I love you"
6.  Smiling at a stranger
7.  Holding in your heart love for all of humanity

You don't need to speak Chinese to show love to a Chinese person, nor Korean, black, white, yellow or green.  Love is universal and is spoken in universal ways.  That's why love is what it is.  The creator, the creation and the sustainer of all things; of all life.
