Man in the Mirror PROJECT - The Story of Pinnochio

There was once a puppet, named Pinnochio, made by an Italian woodcarver who had strings attached to his arms and legs and relied on others to pull his strings in order for him to move.  His fondest wish was to become a real boy, instead of a boy that could only move by the strings attached to him.

For days and months the puppet was sad, for the only thing he could do was that which others wanted him to do.  They pulled and tugged at his strings, making him do things sometimes he didn't even want to.

Then a surprising thing happened.  A beautiful fairy appeared and offered Pinnochio his fondest wish - to become a real boy without strings.  She appointed Pinnochio with a friend to help guide him.  The friend's name was Jiminy, Jiminy Cricket.  Jiminy was to be Pinnochio's conscience and help him make the right choices during his life adventures.  Pinnochio would eventually earn the right to lose his strings with the help of his new friend.

*********************************************

We are all like Pinnochio.  We have created strings that hold us back, that attach us to things and people.  When we learn to master ourselves and trust our conscious (our inner guidance) we will be able to transcend our former selves just like Pinnochio did.  Entering into the realm of freedom where there are no strings that hold us back and our conscious is always our guide.

** This story idea was contributed by the late Michael Jackson

I was literally just thinking about that movie, most notably the one scene in any Disney movie that still scares the absolute crap out of me (when the Coachman says "They never come back... as BOYS!" and then grins evilly. To this day, I always have to close my eyes at that part :p ). It was one of my favorites as a kid, at least until The Little Mermaid came out when I was ten. I actually still have my VHS copy of Pinocchio that I got in like 1986 or '87, it's in one of those really puffy clamshell cases (seriously, you could probably use the darn thing as a pillow). I actually watched it so often as a kid that my mom got annoyed with it one day and forbade me to watch it for like a week or two I think :p I have no means of watching it anymore now, but you can bet if I had a working VCR it'd be the first thing I'd pop in. :p

Your comment made me laugh :) Thank you for sharing your memories with us! I LOVE Disney movies and like with most movies, there always seems to be a wonderful lesson in them. Oprah once said how she loved the story of the Wizard of Oz because in the end Dorothy found out she always had the power to return to home with her . . the whole time she traversed that dark and difficult road.

If I had a copy of Pinnochio I'd send it to you! lol Have an awesome day :)

I've been thinking about buying Pinocchio on DVD off Amazon, actually. My ALL-TIME favorite Disney movie is Beauty and the Beast, it came out when I was twelve and I saw it three times in the theater, and then again for the recent (2011?) 3D re-release. I do have the DVD for that one, I've been wanting to watch it again actually. Here's a little Belle that I drew: http://mysticalchicken.deviantart.com/art/Chibi-Belle-217421409 Other favorites: The Little Mermaid (although I prefer the original, in fact my all-time FAVORITE, favorite ever version is an anime from 1975. The full movie is on YouTube actually, just search "little mermaid 1975 anime"), The Lion King (I am not joking when I say that at one point in my life I had literally the ENTIRE movie memorised line for line. Also Scar is my favorite Disney villain), Sword In The Stone (I looooooove Archimedes :p ), Hunchback of Notre Dame, and a few others that I can't think of. Basically anything I had on VHS as a kid (or teenager) and grew up watching.

Re: the Wizard of Oz: I never owned a VHS or DVD copy of that movie, but I'd watch it on TV every year when either TBS or TNT (I always forget which one) would air it. I'm not sure if they still do.

You are very talented! I LOVE the pic you did! Amazing talent . . . seriously :)
So now that you mentioned your fav Beauty and the Beast, I have to say that I took my kids down to Disney World to see the new Fantasyland this past year. There is a area that features Belle that's utterly priceless! If you haven't been there yet and get an opportunity to, you would enjoy it immensely I'm sure :)

As a side note, you might find this funny - I have two boys who wanted nothing to do with the place but Michael (Jackson) was with us that day as well as his friend Elizabeth Taylor. We had to go in because he said I would just love it. It seemed he was showing Elizabeth around Disney that day with us. She even sat out with us in the evening to view the fireworks. He really treats her with a lot of respect and is an amazing gentleman when he plays host. It was interesting to witness. Kinda cool :)

Ha ha, thanks re: the drawing :D I live too far away from Disney World to go there (at least, not for a long time anyway), but I've been wanting to go to Disneyland again actually. Haven't been there since I was about 15. I wanna ride Space Mountain again (although I have no idea if it's still there), or any roller coaster actually, I love them. I haven't been on one for a really long time though, there aren't any good ones near where I live.

Loved the story of Pinnochio, brings back Childhood memories...:-)

Regarding Michael, someone posted this clip on FB around 1992 with him with a fan on stage. Just beautiful the moments he had with his fans.....

I love Disney movies too, my favorite is also The Beauty and the Beast, it always makes me cry. :P And I love Belle as a character, because she seems as if she's living in two worlds/dimensions simultaneously, in the dreamy fairy tale world and in the reality, as they sing in the song, "with a dreamy far off look". I think everyone should be a bit dreamy and believe in fairy tales and magic, it makes life so much easier. :D -Riikka

Thank you so much for your comments and link. His fans meant the world to him and obviously he meant the world to them. The moments we share in love...because that is truly what I believe it to be...should always be cherished. Thank you once again for your comments :) xxoo

Hi..I have also been following your website and love your posts :-)

I also came across this website recently and wondered what you thought of this lady who also says she is a Twin Flame to Michael's soul? Here is the link....

Hi there,
First thank you so much for following and the nice compliment :)
I have had many other people contact me about her. She has even stated "Debbie" is not Michael Jackson's twin flame. I can give you a long or a short answer, and I think it's best if I give you both:

Short answer: What is her intention?

Long answer: I believe that any person who has experienced enough connectivity to claim to have found their twin flame soul mate will know that no one knows everything and that we are in essence all connected to each other and to the same source. Many people have shared energy with Michael in this lifetime and in others. Many people have shared energy with you and I in this lifetime and in others. True flames, I believe, will never claim they are the one and only of the other. Contrary to popular belief, the flames don't only connect on love for one another. Their love for one another is what spurs them on in advancing at a soul level to fulfill a deep seeded mission. I have not seen her mission statement: i.e. is it to heal the world, get closure on Michaels murder, or make people believe she is Michael's twin flame?
Most people have an intent. Most often they get something out of it. What drives someone so hard to work so hard to make people believe you are Michael Jacksons twin flame? What is the purpose?
True flames unite internally, not externally. The term is soul mate and the relationship is one of the soul, not of the flesh necessarily. Finding a soul mate like this spurs the soul into its evolution. As the soul evolves so does its mission and the love that is shared with the other expands into soul love on a more grand scale. This third level of love is the love necessary to carry out the mission of the flames. This love knows all are connected, because it has already experienced it. Without going further, I feel many will draw their own conclusions based on where they are at in their learning as well. Personally, I wish her well. We all have a path and she has chosen hers in order to learn.
That said, I will also say how disturbed I have been at the finding of other sites about Michael. Not everyone is speaking with him, and unfortunately I believe this leaves those still mourning his passing in a strange place. The lesson here is always "What is the intent?" Is it selfish in nature, as in "look at me" or is it done in love and service as in "What More Can I Give"? Jesus always said "You will know them by their fruits."

Yes, we all have had many connnections.....

Here is some information about how we are all connected with Source/Oversouls and some info on Twin Souls/Twin Flames..

Every human living upon this planet is an aspect of an Oversoul being that is an aspect of the original 12 souls which stepped away from the source connection original God head. Originally there was the source energy. In this there was a choice, a decision to separate. 12 parts stepped out to experience their first experience of soul separation from the original soul. They then underwent their own experiences to allow multiple, generational separations to experience life of different ways. Everyone in their Original state i.e. humanity is perfect. Back into the Archic records we are whole and perfect. Yet through fragmentation of your souls of fragmentations of the aspects, individual aspects of multiple lives. Each separation you become an individual, (yet you have a connection to the other experiences of that same Oversoul. So that when everyone's come back into the Ascension we all reconnect like a broken mirror. As an example, if you take a mirror a new and beautiful one which is whole and then you brake it pieces, it is still each one of those small pieces reflecting back a mirror to you and as you glue it back together with your energy glue, you bring it back to the wholeness of the mirror. Each of the individual parts glued back in, that bring back your story to the whole. You are overlapping, you are bringing your expression back into the whole. One story as you begin the ascension to come back into the whole, to reconnect back to the oversoul family, interconnecting coming back into ALL expressions that you have ever been connected to

With regards to Twin Souls and Twin Flames as people expand their higher consciousness for oneself, to seek the twining of one's own soul which originated from a split soul and to find the resonation and healing within the aspect of the individual that one is in this current lifetime of the many lives one has experienced as a human and to bring in the partial parts of oneself. Once you have come into the energy of knowing that one is divinely cantered then you begin to seek out the Twin energy. One will begin to intuit by almost a magnetic knowing a pulling of an individual energy, an alignment. Some will meet on Earth, but will never be in union, but will bring forth greater learning. Many Twin Souls can be a sibling or even birthed into their own family or even friends. Twin Souls and Twin Flames are similar but a Twin Flame can exist without ever meeting as Twin Flames are fire/flame, they are opposites of each other. They will exist and they will bring great joy to the individuals that they connect with. If the Twin Flames do connect the greater learning is this, is to hold one's energy in that which is the solidity and wholeness that it is and not be overpowered and overwhelmed by the others to become overtaken or consumed by a singularity……

Fabulous! Thank you so much for your sharing. Many people misunderstand the concept and reality of twin flames....I do feel it is necessary to speak the truth because we all will experience the connection at one time or another. It is always easier with understanding and compassion for both the twin and self.. Truly thank you for taking te time to post this wonderful information :) xxoo
