Man in the Mirror PROJECT: Cultivating the Soul with Celestine Prophecy

"Where attention goes energy flows; Where Intention goes energy flows.”

- James Redfield

“We must assume every event has significance and contains a message that pertains to our questions...this especially applies to what we used to call bad things...the challenge is to find the silver lining in every event, no matter how negative.”

- James Redfield

The above quotes are from an author of a book that was listed "fiction" on the shelves of our bookstores some years back.  James Redfield is the author of a book called "The Celestine Prophecy".  I'm bringing this particular author up because when I went to publish my first book back in 1998 I was told that they would publish it, as fiction, citing the "The Celestine Prophecy" was also published as fiction.

At the time I didn't feel that naming my story fictional was going to help anyone.  Add to that the fact that it was about events that happened with someone so much in the public eye.  To me, it was a recipe for ridicule and disaster.

Everyone will have their own opinions of what's real and what they want to believe, however, it's almost hard to fathom that many of these books relate to the same information presented in a different way.

In James Redfield's book, "The Celestine Prophecy", he tells the story an American, who is adventuring in the rain forests of Peru where he discovers a set of nine manuscripts. These manuscripts, referred to as "insights", offer ways of discovering a new sense of life.  In the book as he discovers the insights he also interprets the meaning of these hidden "truths".  These are the truths I held tightly to in presenting as "truth", not fiction.

Many of us cultivate our lives in our jobs, our homes, how we dress, our shoes, our purses, what our "reputation" is, or how thin we are.  We have spent a great deal of time trying to fit into society's idea of the "ideal" life.  Yet many of us, even though we may have everything society says we should, still come up empty handed and empty inside, when it comes to our feelings about life.
If we spent the time we do cultivating our presentations to the world in cultivating our soul, we might find another way of living and happier and more fulfilled life.  Simply put, placing our attention on our more eternal self takes us farther in the long run, than placing emphasis and importance on the things that society deems important today.  Styles change, jobs change, even our world economics, but one thing remains constant, the strength and fortitude of our very souls.

Here are some of the insights from Redfield's work that may help us cultivate our lives into a better way of living.  You may notice some of the same ideas and concepts have been presented on this blog.  They are repeated in our history, but hidden from the masses in a controlled public forum, often labeled as "fiction".

1.  The Shift in Consciousness:  When a critical mass of people see life as a journey of unfolding, mysterious, and exciting synchronicities.  When we question the synchronicities, question the mystery, a series of insights will be revealed that will shift us and in turn shift the consciousness of the masses.

2. The Longer Now:  Represents the creation of a new, more complete worldview.  This replaces our preoccupation with society views and physical comforts.  Awakening to the coincidences in our lives, opens us up to the real purpose of human life on this planet and the real nature of our universe.  As we awake, we will create a new world view that honors the universe as energy and a higher consciousness.

3. The Matter of Energy:  E=MC2  Currently we experience that we live in a material universe, but our true universe is that of a dynamic energy. Everything that exists is a field of sacred energy that we can sense and intuit. Our creative right allows us to project our energy by focusing our attention in the desired direction...where attention goes, energy flows...influencing other energy systems and increasing the pace of coincidences in our lives and participating in the greater consciousnesss of the all.

Our physical universe is actually a vast system of penetrating energy that responds to how we think. All of life vibrates at a certain level.   If we unfocus the eyes on any particular object, we begin to see the energy fields surrounding everything. Focused energy with intent, allows us to see more beauty in the world around us.

Start each day by soaking up the energy in nature for 10-15 minutes, seeing and soaking up the beauty and seeing the energy fields. From that, our understanding of the physical universe will quickly transform. The new life view is that energy responds to how we think(our consciousness). Love is not about being good or morally responsible. Rather it is about connecting with energy fields and deeply appreciating the beauty in nature.  See everything as divine energy.  Love is synchronicitous connection in action.

4. Struggle for Power: Too often humans cut themselves off from the greater source of divine energy and begin to feel weak and insecure. To gain energy we tend to manipulate or force others to give us attention and thus energy. When we successfully dominate others in this way we feel more powerful, but they are left weakened and often fight back. Competition for human energy is the cause of all conflict between people. We think we have to compete with each other for energy and steal energy from others because we are disconnected from the larger source of this universal energy so we practise domination, manipulation, and control to fill up with other people’s energy. This struggle is responsible for all human conflict. In fact, the universal energy can sustain us. We do not need other people’s energy.

5. Connection with All That Is:   Insecurity and violence ends when we experience an inner connection with divine energy within, a connection described by mystics of all traditions. Senses of lightness…buoyancy…along with the constant sensation of love are measures of this connection. If these measures are present, the connection is real. If not, it is only pretense. The only solution is to cultivate a personal reconnection with the divine as a transformation which fills us with unlimited energy, love, and knowledge which extends our perception of beauty and lifts us into a higher consciousness.  To experience ourselves connected with the endless source of energy is to feel euphoric, light, mystical, grateful, secure, and connected. If the whole landscape is us, feel in love with everything as accepting the energy so our energy field enlarges and sends energy back to everything. Drawing energy from the entire universe, our energy field and the universe’s are the same…i.e.….the universe is our body.

To permanently connect with the energy, we must pass a hurdle: we must stop the control drama (patterns) that we repeat over and over. Once we are connected with enough energy to see through our control drama so we know we are always connected with all that is, we get higher guidance in our lives so life flows. We must be fully conscious of what we do to manipulate for energy.
Our dramas are:

1) interrogator-constantly asks questions and probes into another’s world to find something wrong to criticize in order to drain energy from you

2) aloof-withdrawn so people come to you and give you their energy. Aloof creates interrogators

3) poor me-shares victim stories and guilt trips so drains your energy

4) intimidator-aggressive Intimidator creates poor me

In the higher consciousness, we can release our own pattern of controlling and discover a specific truth, a mission.  We are here to share that and help evolve humanity toward this new, higher level of reality
6. Clearing the Past:  The more we stay connected, the more we are acutely aware of those times when we lose connection, usually when we are under stress. In these times, we can see our own particular way of stealing energy from others. Once our manipulations are brought to personal awareness, our connection becomes more constant and we can discover our own growth path in life and our spiritual mission…the personal way we can contribute to the world.

When you have acquired enough energy, you are ready to consciously engage evolution to recognize the synchronicities that will lead you forward. Remember your basic life question, the one your parents gave you [because of who they were], because this question provides the overall context for your evolution. (Patterns)
Next you center yourself on your path by discovering the immediate, smaller questions that currently confront your life. The problem in life isn't in receiving answers. The problem is in identifying your current questions. Once you get the questions right, the answers always come. After you get an intuition of what might happen next, the next step is to become very alert and watchful. Sooner or later synchronicities will occur to move you in the direction indicated by the intuition.

Always remember to stop as often as necessary to reconnect your energy. Stay full and stay in a state of love. Once you achieve this state of love, nothing and no one can pull more energy from you than you can replace. But you must stay conscious of this process in order for it to work. This is especially important when you interact with people.

7. Engaging in the Flow:  Knowing our personal mission further enhances the flow of mysterious coincidences as we are guided toward our destinies. First we have to question; then dreams, daydreams, and intuitions lead us towards the answers which usually are synchronistically provided by the wisdom of another human being.

In pursuit of this mission, we can discover an inner intuition that shows us where to go and what to do and if we make only positive interpretations, the intuition brings a flow of synchronicities that opens the doors for our mission to unfold. Constantly ask, “What is my next best step?” (From Phil L'Hirondelle-thank you) Be guided by the positive learnings/lessons.

8. Interpersonal Ethics:  We can increase the frequency of guiding coincidences by uplifting every person that comes into our lives. Care must be taken not to lose our inner connection in romantic relationships. Uplifting others is especially effective in groups where each member can feel energy of all the others. With children it is extremely important for their early security and growth. By seeing the beauty in every face, we lift others into their wisest self and increase the chances of hearing a synchronistic message.

When enough of us enter this evolutionary flow, always giving energy to the Higher Self of everyone we meet [because we are living our lessons], we will build a new culture where our bodies evolve to ever higher levels of energy, perception, and consciousness.

9. Emerging Culture: As we all evolve toward the best us, the completion of our spiritual missions, the technological means of survival will be fully automated as humans focus instead on synchronistic growth.(Man in the Mirror PROJECT)

Such growth will move humans into higher energy consciousness, ultimately transforming our bodies into spiritual form and uniting this dimension of existence with the after-life dimension, ending the cycle of birth and death. In this way, we participate in the long journey of evolution.
Ultimate goal: to energize our bodies until we walk into a heaven we can finally see here and now.

10. Holding the Collective Vision: The Tenth Insight is the realization that throughout history human beings have been unconsciously struggling to implement this lived spirituality on Earth. Each of us comes here on assignment and as we pull this understanding into consciousness, we can remember a fuller birth vision of what we wanted to accomplish with our lives. Further, we can remember a common world vision of how we will all work together to create a new spiritual culture.
We know that our challenge is to hold this collective vision of a new world with intention and prayer every day.

11. Extending Collective Fields of Intention: The Eleventh Insight is the precise method through which we hold the vision.

For centuries, religious scriptures, poems, and philosophies have pointed to a latent power of consciousness that lies within all of us.  It mysteriously helps to affect what occurs in the future. It has been called faith, power, positive thinking, and the power of prayer. We are now taking this power seriously enough to bring a fuller knowledge of it into public awareness

We are finding that this prayer power is a field of intention, which moves out from us and can be extended and strengthened, especially when we connect with others in a common vision.
This is the power through which we hold the vision of a spiritual world and build the energy in ourselves and in others to make this vision a reality.
