Our new year forecast brings a mixture of opportunity and challenge. Uranus and Pluto make their last square in March, keeping us guessing and on our toes. You never know what will happen next. You will probably feel this energy the entire year but mark your calendars for March and anticipate change, challenges and opportunities.
Mars is in the sign of Aquarius now and will move into Pisces mid month. You will feel a strong need to make your life better as well as make an impact on improving your neighborhood, family issues, work area, etc. It's a great time to get together with friends too. Then when it moves into Pisces, your dreams will be many and very vivid. There could be a tendency then to forgo boundaries and structures you set earlier in the month. If you are going to opt out of your new years resolution, its like you will do it on or around the 12th. You may be very psychic then and also very creative. You can also get to a higher meditative state under this influence.
If you are aware of this date you can be extra cautious and try to stick to your resolutions and plan. When the new moon moves into Aquarius on the 20 at 8:14a.m. eastern time, you can attempt to give it another go. The new moon is sextile to saturn so this will be helpful. But promises you make to your self may be hard to keep with Mars in Pisces because Pisces energy doesn't like boundaries and likes to indulge. No matter what sign we are, we are affected by this energy for six weeks. But at least this will give you a heads up.
Mercury goes retrograde on January 21 until Feb 10/11 so this is a time not to start anything new or sign contracts Do so before or wait until after. Travel delays can also be expected during the retrograde. But remember the retrograde will be good to redo or retry your new years resolution.
The full moon is this Sunday in the sign of Cancer at 14 degrees at 11:54p.m. eastern time. Pluto conjuncts the Sun that day and opposes the Full Moon so this could be a pretty challenging day for many people. Cancers especially may have troubles with people in positions of power, competitors and receive some unsettling news. It could be a highly charged emotional day for many people. Some folks will have to change their direction or be forced onto a new path. Unexpected events and challenging people will force these changes. I hate to even write this but I feel its better for you to be prepared than for something to strike out of the blue and you were clueless.
Use the first 12 days of this month to organize your life, put your ideas into action. You can accomplish a lot. Whenever the sun is in Capricorn, it is a good time to declutter your closest and office etc. You'll feel a sense of urgency to get your life organized and work hard on a solid game plan. So the cosmos are working with you now to help you structure and define a new way of life, perhaps a much more effective one. Aim high. Much can be accomplished if you set solid goals.
