It's a week filled with alot of astro activity to say the least. The new moon in Aquarius hit today at 8:14 am EST. Uranus, the planet of chaos, makes an aspect with the South Node today too. This could mean you are releasing something from your past that you no longer need in your life. It's a karmic time and things that end this week (job, relationship, etc) are fated to. I have done a alot of readings over this past weekend for people who had questions about ending, releasing, letting go, etc. I also have heard of many people passing over or getting close to making their transitions as well. You may hear of someone sick or having a sudden illness out of the blue. Our reader Miss Betty went to the emergency with stomach pains last night. Please send healing and prayers.
Think of what you have been holding onto for the past 15 years that is no longer necessary. Is it the memory of an old love? Is it a job or committment that you can no longer bare to keep? What is holding you back from making your life happier or your dreams come true? This aspect helps you release these things so you can move onward! You will probably say "I'm done with this or that" at some point this week.
I've been reminding you through my Facebook posts about Mercury retrograde that begins tomorrow in the sign of Aquarius. The sign of Aquarius rules technology, computers, cell phones the internet, and social media. Be careful of miscommunication via twitter and Facebook now. You may regret something you post. Also safeguard your computers. We had an iPad already crack and I dropped my laptop at the airport. Thankfully it is still working so I can send out this newsletter. Mercury will be retrograde until February 11. With the retrograde, it is a good time to re-do things and reconnect with people from the past. Anything you do with "re" in front of it, goes rather well. Re-edit, reconnect, redecorate, repair and so on. Redo your new years resolutions this week. They can be successful now!
Are you feeling tired? Energy low? Some of you may have a cold or flu bug. Mars is conjunct Neptune today so it's a good time to get more rest and take care of yourself. Joe and I flew back to New Orleans late last night and on the flight, it seemed everyone was coughing or sneezing. Handle what you can today. With the Sun and Moon sextile Saturn you should be able to get quite a bit accomplshed but don't add more to your plate than you've already planned.
As you know, I usually tell you that new moons are great to start new things but not this one and not the one next month either! That's because the next two moons are the in the last degree of their signs so this means "no go" for new starts. April's new moon is really the time when things get moving in the right direction or if you want to start a new job, new idea, project etc. But please use this time wisely....the universe is giving us plenty of time to go back over things and take time to complete things. How wonderful! Give yourself permission to slow down a bit and relax for a few weeks without pushing too hard.
