Maybe you have gone through a great deal of learning.  You've come to the point where you know you have achieved some degree of mastery over your thoughts, emotions, your state of being.  You know there is a flame for you, somewhere.  You feel it, inside, you ache for it.  For it is the one thing you feel is missing from your life that will complete you, finally.

There may come a point in your life when it feels so lonely, so miserable, and your heart may ache so much you may even feel desperate to find a love to complete you.  You may actively search for him or her, or continually size up every individual you meet to see if they are a match.  You just "know" they are "out there" somewhere.

Twin flames, however, are never "out there", most often they are "in there".  Inside of our souls already waiting patiently and waiting for us to discover them.  It's hard to wait.  Somehow we "know" instinctively that this perfect love exists.  We can taste it, we remember it, and the desire for it is very strong within each individual.

During this time in history it's important for us to remember that our souls have been split apart for a great deal of time.  Subconsciously, however, we remember the unity we once had.  The wholeness and complete love that is already a part of us.  The trek back, however, is never that clear cut, never that easy when it comes to lifetimes of learning and unlearning.  Patience in this case is not only a virtue, but a necessity.  We must give the flame relationship time to re-birth.

We are most often creatures of wants and needs.  We act from our thoughts and emotions without thinking.  Accordingly, if we feel lonely, if we think that someone else will fill the longing inside for us, we may act on the demand we have created for ourselves, often times accepting a lesser standard in our lives.  Because of this acceptance of something less, you will no longer have the magnetism within to attract something more.  It's a double edge sword, I know, but here is where your complete wholeness must come first.  It is the absence of wholeness that makes you reach out in the first place.  Grasping for wholeness on the outside will only prolong the journey.  There is but one road to the flame.  Like getting directions to New York City, there are streets and avenues that must be taken.  These directions are within.  Knowing thyself, making yourself whole first, will be the only thing that ignites the attraction of the flame.  For when you are incomplete,  you will lose focus on the divine magnet of wholeness that can attract to you the very thing you need to complete your wholeness.  Accordingly, taking the time and knowing what awaits you on the end of the journey will be well worth finding your wholeness along the way.
