Truth

What is your truth?  Do you know?  How did you come to know it?  Did someone tell you or did you figure it out on your own?

Truth is absolute.  There is not a version of the truth from one person, and another version of the truth from another.  That would be opinion, not truth.  If you've living in the world today, you most likely have had a bout with truth, but more often you've had offerings of opinions more than anything else.

All religions of the world are based on opinions.  If they were truth, the absolute truth, there would be no need for so many.  In law, a criminal case is decided on "opinion", not truth.  If it were truth the case could never be overturned.  Truth is absolute.

Finding your truth is different than finding truth in a situation.  Your truth can be hidden among many thoughts and opinions you have been fed year after year and have come to think of them as your own.  Many people think truth is what they are told.  Society does not dictate truth.  Society dictates what's most appropriate at the time.  Governments dictate what they wish you to believe as do churches, synagogues, priests, the republicans, the democrats, kings and queens.  What would you like to hear?  Most often they know what you want and can come up with some very creative ways for you to hear it.  Like a magnet you're drawn in.  It was that thing you needed to hear at the time and there it was.  Be it a government, a lover telling you about how dedicated they are, a priest promising you a special room in heaven, the list can go on and on.

If you don't know what you're truth is, chances are everyone elses truth will trump yours and you'll find yourself in a bit of a pickle.  Running from friend to friend, church to church and country to country to find out what the truth is.  Real truth, however, comes from inside.  It's that small voice that tells you no priest can guarantee anyone a special spot in heaven and that feeling you get when the government or politician promises you better living conditions with a toothy smile.

When you live with truth, you live in the connection to your source.  That source is your barometer for all people, places and events and can tell what the "truth" is in any given situation.  Truth is the one thing constant in our universe.  It is unchangeable, absolute and guaranteed.

Here is some "truth" from the past after a mudslinging of lies:
