What does true freedom mean?  Internally it would be to break free from the patterns of thought we have created for ourselves.  What we perceive we often believe, creating our feelings of love or hatred towards others.  In your own life I am sure you can recall times that you had different thoughts about the same situation or even have had a change of heart.  It wasn't that the situation changed, it was your thoughts about the situation.

During some recent correspondence I have been reminded of the internal struggle in accepting the twin flame relationship.  We all want true complete love.  I believe we all search for the one "perfect" partner that will make us complete.  Yet just as in Michael's poem above, there will be concepts created, broken promises, and sometimes years of wondering and waiting before you really know that the path to this perfect one has so much to do with ourselves.

Our twin flames mirror the lessons that we ourselves have yet to learn.  If you perceive the world as a cold place you may perceive your twin as part of this place as well.  It isn't until you have grown into the idea that an all pervading love beyond what is perceived can actually be already alive inside of you.

My yoga teacher made a wonderful point during our last class.  He told us about a trip he had taken with his wife not far from his home.  He described the scene with flowery words, beautiful pose, and an exasperated tone.  Yet, as he did this, he explained that there merely were no words to capture the experience.  Some experiences are beyond words, beyond explanation, and sometimes even beyond our human conception.  Feeling your twin inside yourself is the same.  The feeling of bliss, oneness and ecstasy are beyond words.  The wholeness felt reminds you of the magnificence of God himself.  It is all encompassing, all pervasive and pure love.  There are no thoughts that define it, no way to capture it.  It sits within you like the stillness of a moment in time when you are suspended and you feel yourself as part of this pure energy that completely takes over your entire body.  The times that I have experienced this I keep my body absolutely still.  I am afraid to breath for fear the feeling will leave.

The journey is not that beautiful, however, and that part isn't God's design, it's been ours.  It's these perceived ideas we have, these patterns we've created that keep us apart in our external world.  Fear, worthiness, inner struggle with addictions, fear of failure, self worth and all the things that are deemed our demons inside.  The journey is an internal climb upward to our true selves, not external.  The human face of your beloved is only your perception.  The true beloved you seek already whispers inside of you.  He or she is already a part of you.  We will always on the path be doubtful, we will be afraid, we will be angry, and we will be joyful; but all of these emotions, all of these hurts and all of the misgivings in the end will come to be known only as stepping stones in our own growth.  For in the end the perfection we seek we will come to know was a part of our true selves within all along.

Give of Yourself

"See yourself as a God.  Someone who exists in the universe only to serve mankind.  In this way you yourself will be served by the multitudes.  You will want for nothing and nothing will be out of your reach.

Servitude means this; expressing joy when looking to give it to others.  It is with a joyful loving heart that service is given.  In gratitude to be able to serve; in love; your willingness to serve.  It is true that this is and will reveal the purpose in each flower beholden in your humanity.  If you do not serve others what will be a fulfilled purpose?  Certainly not of the self.  For in serving yourself only you will never be truly satisfied..  The reason is simple; You have not taken the time to know yourself enough to even know what would make you happy.  If you think this is not true, then why do so many want "more" when they do get what they "wanted" in the first place?

True fulfillment only comes in a completion of the soul and purpose that it carries.  Always be mindful of what you are reaching for.  In your highest good you will achieve  your highest level of satisfaction.  True humility, a pure heart and purposeful living will plant the seeds for wisdom, purity and a higher state of being.

Be wise and do what is necessary of yourself and I promise all things that you now think dear to you will seem trivial.  Those things that you have not even noticed will blossom before your eyes.  True humility, true worth and true enlightenment only happen when one readies for it - extending oneself into what might be instead of what they think it is.  Open, honest reflection on oneself and the world surrounding the individual.  Let yourself be open to the possibility and all things will be made available to you.

Lessen your burden by lessening your minds worries.  Lessen your light by letting them weigh you down.  You see, you are the one prohibiting your own self from advancement or placing yourself upon the path to attainment."

Man in the Mirror PROJECT: Exploring the Upanishads with Sri

Kena Upanishad, Fourth Part, Verse 5:

"Then in that which is of the Self, - as the motion of this mind seems to attain to That and by it afterwards the will in the thought continually remembers It."

Message from Sri and the Brothers of Light 8/6/2013:

"Substance:  What is substance?  Substance is what you are comprised of.  Living tissue, organs, life force.  What is substance directed by?  Energy, manifestations and love.

All of life is substance, all is directed by the one acting force of love.  Love is the one prevailing energy that manifests itself within man that creates a feeling of euphoria.  This is the state of ultimate bliss we seek with the father.  For in our truly holy self, the higher part of our being, there is only love.  No hatred, no race, no weapons of destruction and no cease of being.  If there was a way to achieve enlightenment and bliss easily everyone would be walking around with a happy face at all times, but in this life our work towards the union of our high self is the goal.  To achieve this we must strive to be one with love and the father of all things - our universe.  Maya, the misqualified ideas and thoughts we have about ourselves and others always distracts us.  We think we know things, believe in things we hear and often act without consciously thinking about what or why we do things.  Listening to the universe, that part of yourself that is the whisper within, will allow you to connect to the force of life.  From there you will know what it feels like, what the words sound like, and you will not mistake it for the egocentric voice within your head.  These thought, maya, are disruptive.  They are the patterns at play in the mind that have manifested for centuries.  If you drew a picture of yourself, one maya strand of energy would encompass a room full of people.  That is how pervasive our maya is.  We must learn to break the pattern of thought and in doing so we transmit different energy to all of life.  This is the way as a master I have come to see all of life.  We each connect, each transmit and each play a part in the universal song.  What you decide to put out into the universe is what you reflect back upon yourself.  We do this without knowing.  We enter into the plan without being consciously aware.  This is why our Saint Germain has stated we are in a rut.  Sleeping still through patterns of energy that have been established for centuries even at times thousands of years.  Therefore, it is our mundane task to eliminate these patterns.

If you are up for this work it will be your responsibility to see to it that what you think, what you act on and what you decide to do in this world is a conscious choice made by you and the highest part of yourself - the God force or Brahman.  This will allow you to act with divine guidance and our brethren and others on the planet can and will more easily access the energy stored within your being.  Bringing light to the planet then will be as easy as connecting our energy with yours.  As you raise your vibration, we lower ours.  The patterns can and will be broken by both a higher power and lower vibration.  Mira has disclosed this previously.  We are one all beings, all people and the day that you realize this deep within yourself and actually feel it is the day your higher consciousness will prevail and the true light of who you are will blossom."

A Message from Michael

I've given the floor to Michael today and we've agreed to post his message:


"Not everything can be said here.  I am hopeful things will turn out fine for my daughter and mother.  She is very worried about the case and I am here for her.  I want my family to know how much appreciate them doing so much for me.  I am rarely away from them during the trial and see almost all of what has gone on.  Randy, you're a genius.  If it hadn't been for you things would never have found their way into the court room.  Picking sides is not going to help anyone.  I hope that you all know what is left of my life is simply clean up.  How can you pick up the pieces and move on.  That's all I want to say on that.  The rest is private and my family knows where I stand.

For the fans, I am amazed.  Each time I look down and see a flower on my grave or blanket with a smile it crushes my heart.  He is getting so big! And sees everything with wonder still.  I wish I would have had more time with him and my other children.  I wish they were able to see me perform just one last time before I passed.  I hope that they will inspire others to heal the world.  Prince has been absolutely fabulous.  He is a well composed young man and I can't believe for his age how much he has matured.  My life in the public eye has left them open to scrutiny in the media and often times danger in the industry.  Yes the industry is dangerous.  Without going into details, through testimony, you'll come to find out many things about the industry the public at large was never aware of.  Please know how much I appreciate all the support, the prayers, the lights, the on lookers, and people who are supporting my mother.  She really values the support and really likes seeing the posters and things at the court house.  She is unable to reciprocate.  She is really sad about things lately and I hope this cheers her up. She is an amazing woman and what I want her to know is that I love her immensely and will never leave her side.  I could not imagine a better mother, and that's the God's to honest truth.  If I could take back all the hurt that's been caused to her I would do it in a heart beat.  No one deserves what my mother has been through.  No one should be able to put another human being through what is transpiring now.  If things were different I would be there to hold her up, but they're not.  Mother you have to ask God for help and know that I am here for you.  I will do everything in my power to see this through.  You are my rock and guiding star.  I will never be able to express to you the depth of emotion I feel for you and the children.  It breaks my heart every time I see you cry.  Please know I am there with you.  Know that I care and will share in this burden that's been placed upon you.  I know its not fair.  We have to know we are still fighting together.  That's important.  Know I am here.  We will get through this.  I love you more than you know - Michael"

It is not often that these two souls or aspects of the same soul join together in service.  For in one mind we often individualize as repeated patterns play out and our life streams can be centralized and reconciled.  We have come as a team, recognizing the need to assist you with your purpose. Recognizing our true identity is the first step.  Who is we?  We are enlightened masters ready to receive the instruction from our universe to bring our brethren home.  Therefore, it is our intention to find like minded souls looking for the truth of incarnate man.

Who among you should be so bold to presume we know all there is to know about life?  To know you must become the knower and the knower must become known to himself.  Upanishads speak of what it is to become.  You become the knower, the seer and the master by allowing yourself to become known. The secret is this; you must not be afraid of what you find.  A treasure of gold could be hidden behind a mirror of doubt.  All things, all places, all people are of the same dust.  It is the alchemy of the flesh and spirit that transforms us into the reality we seek.  Praise your existence for the miracle of you is found everywhere you choose to see it.  Choose now, it is right before your very eyes."

Knowledge and Ignorance

Vidya and Avidya

"All manifestation proceeds by the two terms, Vidya and Avidya, the consciousness of Unity and the consciousness of Multiplicity.  They are the two aspects of the Maya, the formative self-conception of the Eternal.

Unity is the eternal and fundamental fact, without which all multiplicity would be unreal and an impossible illusion.  The consciousness of Unity is therefore called Vidya, the Knowledge.

Multiplicity is the play or varied self expansion of the One, shifting in its terms, divisible in its view of itself, by force of which the One occupies many centers of consciousness, inhabits many formations of energy in the universal Movement.  Multiplicity is implicit or explicit in unity.  Without it the Unity would be either a void of non-existence or a powerless, sterile limitation to the state of indiscrimate self-absorption or of blank repose.

But the consciousness of multiplicity separated from the true knowledge in the many of their own essential oneness, - the viewpoint of the separate ego identifying itself with the divided form and the limited action, - is a state of error and delusion.  In man this is the form taken by the consciousness of multiplicity.  Therefore is is given the name of Avidya, the Ignorance."

". . . . The words above describe the reason for Man in the Mirror PROJECT.  If we all could find who we really are and harness the power of our divinity, we can and will change this world into a world free of pain with much more joy.  As Michael, Sri Aurobindo and Mother are working with me, Sri has offered the following as we continue to explore the Upanishads.  He has referenced Mundaka Upanishad, Chapter 2, Section 2, Verses 1 and 2:

1. Manifested, it is here set close within, moving in the secret heart, this is the mighty foundation and into it is consigned all that moves and breathes and sees.  This that is that great foundation here, know, as the Is and Is-not, the supremely desirable, greatest and the Most High, beyond the knowledge of creatures.
2. That which is the Luminous, that which is smaller than the atoms, that in which are set the worlds and their peoples, That is This, - it is Brahman immutable: life is That, it is speech and mind. That is This, the True and Real, it is That which is immortal: it is into That that thou must pierce, O fair son, into That penetrate.

Sri has further explained this by tying in yesterdays post, offering the following in summation:

"Who is it that sits upon the tree of life?  It is a wonder that anyone can see themselves for who they are when all along we like to believe we are the ones that delegate the responsibilities to the universe.  In essence the design is the other way around.  Our thoughts are transmitted in such a way that all of life dictates the orchestra around us.  We beacon, we ask, we pray and we transmit, but it is the universe that prevails knowing the deepest needs we have within our souls; not our egos or egotistical desires.  There is a difference in absorbing the egocentric values vs. the values of a true soul progression.  Within the seed of your existence you will find a wondrous charm.  It is the game of life out at play.  Hiding within you, it peeks out for you to view, then takes rest once again behind the ego.

This desire to rise above the ego is portioned in love and in passion.  The drive is a force of love that knows when it is fulfilled all of life will flow through you.  It is the knowingness that believes, yet wonders at the magnificence of the self.  Believe in life, for in love you will achieve the greatest of all desires; your true self."  - Sri Aurobindo and Mira (Mother) August 1, 2013

Michael, Sri and Mother have all referenced that part of ourselves, the magical child that resides within us.  This is the part that is connected to what Sri calls "Brahman" - the eternal force of ourselves that sees itself and is all that is us and around us.  This weekend may we all move closer to our "magical child" and see ourselves for who we truly are, instead of who we have believed we have been.

Man in the Mirror PROJECT: The Upanishads; two BIRDS

I would like to start this first segment of the Upanishads with a poem written by Michael Jackson.  It was written in his book "Dancing the Dream" published back in 1992 and endorsed by another one of my favorite people, Elizabeth Taylor:

It's hard to tell them what I feel for you.  They haven't ever met you, and no one has your picture.  So how can they ever understand your mystery?  Let's give them a clue:

Two birds sit in a tree.  One eats cherries, while the other looks on.  Two birds fly through the air.  One's song drops like crystal from the sky while the other keeps silent.  Two birds wheel in the sun.  One catches the light on its silver feathers, while the other spreads wings of invisibility.

It's easy to guess which bird I am, but they'll never find you.  Unless . . .

Unless they already know a love that never interferes, that watches from beyond, that breathes free in the invisible air.  Sweet bird, my soul, your silence is so precious.  How long will it be before the world hears your song in mine?  Oh, that is a day I hunger for!

Sri Aurobindo has been introduced to me with Michael on the other side of the veil.  It was his contention that we explore the Upanishads, which I knew nothing about when he mentioned them.  Since I have purchased a book to explore them and while I do that I have invited my readers.  I have another book, the only one I've ever had by Michael Jackson called "Dancing the Dream".  In it I found poetry that was too beautiful to ever lose.  Since reviewing the Upanishads, I have noticed the similarity in content.  Let us begin with the Mundaka Upanishad, Ch 3 Sec 1, Verses 1 and 2 translated by Sri Aurobindo himself in The Upanishads.

Two birds, beautiful of wing, close companions, cling to one common tree:  of the two one eats the sweet fruit of the tree, the other eats not but watches his fellow.  

The soul is the bird that sits immersed on the one common tree; but because he is not lord he is bewildered and has sorrow.  But when he sees that other who is the Lord and beloved, he knows that all is His greatness and his sorrow passes away from him.

The longing and search for our higher self, the true self, or soul will lead us down many paths.  We will watch ourselves in our turmoil, our anger and pain, until the time comes when we ourselves have come into union with our true natures.  We are truly the seers, the masters that create.  We need only to let ourselves know who we truly are and enter into it.  Before we can do that, we must embrace the idea that we are one and the same.  For in doing so we can encompass our beauty and our pain.  Weeding out our false ideas one at a time until we have a beautiful garden of delight within our very souls.  This is true happiness, true bliss and the seed and identity we all carry within.

I believe that this is also the necessity when finding one's twin flame.  One of the birds possesses the soul; the complete soul that is you and your beloved.  You, the soul, watch each other silently as you each embrace your pain, sorrow and triumphs.  When you come to know the other as the silent bird on the tree, it is then that the soul becomes united and whole once again.
