Because this is a twin soul blog, today we thought we'd post something on the path that some people might not think about. Twin flames, twin souls are spiritual relationships first and foremost. Most often if you are on the path you are developing spiritually. It would stand to reason then that you will begin to experience other phenomenon as well.
There is a stage in the twin flame relationship when there will be others who will not like the two coming together. You may get interference from people on the earth plane and/or people in spirit. In 1995 I had spirit interference. As I wrote about in the book "Another Part of Me - An Extraordinary Tale of Twin Souls" someone was interfering with our communication. Some readers of this blog have said even now that Michael has passed there are imposters posing as him. I can tell you that this experience is the one that helped me know what is an imposter and what isn't.
In the bible they talk about knowing someone by their fruits, the gift of discernment. This is one area that must be experienced in order to learn it. So back in 1995 I feared my interference would have a negative effect on my twin. I told Michael I thought I had a ghost and thought it best not to communicate with him for a while. I feared that it would have a detrimental effect on both of us.
Little did I know at the time that I had told a few people about our "connection". I had trusted them, but instead of supporting me they became jealous. To my face they were kind, but in the end it was the people closest to me that were the biggest deceivers.
Michael wrote a few songs about this time. One I enjoy is posted below. It's title is "Ghosts" and if you listen to the lyrics you may find it eerily similar to our story. It's a short film and depicts the "monster" that people made Michael out to be. When he says he is not alone you'll notice the spirits behind him - are they dressed in clothing from the French Revolution? I don't know . . maybe you can be the judge. Whatever the conclusion that you draw, in the end we will all have ghosts of jealousy. The real lesson, however, will come when we learn to transcend them.
In the wake of the hurricane hitting the east coast there are some still experiencing the massive effects of the storm. It is important now, more than ever to trust your intuition. There will still be some messes to deal with. I'm being shown ice storms for those in the east coast area (Pennsylvania/Washington area), so prepare as necessary to bunker down for a few days. May our thoughts and prayers go out to those who have been caught in the storms and may we ask for a calming of minds, hearts and winds in the coming days.
On a lighter side, a friend of mine was featured on a television program just recently. Since Halloween is just a day away I thought it might be nice to feature his piece. The original Halloween holiday in the United States came from a tradition of celebrating the dead. Those of us in spiritual communities know that those that are considered dead, never really die. US residents on the east coast will be experiencing the effects of Hurricane Sandy very soon. I'm being told to warn the residents of New York and in particular New York City to evacuate the area immediately. If you have not done so already and are in the New York City area, please transport yourself and loved ones to a safe area due West of the state.
The Hopi Indians, native to northeast Arizona, have many predictions about the end of this Age and the world as we know it. They believe the present age is ending and the beginning of a new Age is upon us. They do not predict certain dates, but they know by the signs where we are in history.
The Hopi have successfully predicted the Western movement and the railroads .Their prophecies warn that the people who first received the Light (China, Palestine, India and Africa) will start World War III. When that happens, according to their prophecies, the United States will be destroyed by "gourdes of ashes" and those who are at peace in their hearts are already in the Great Shelter of Life. Evil will not find shelter. When the Saquahuh (blue star) Kachina dances in the plaza and removes his mask, the time of the great trial will be here.
In an address of the Hopi Nation to the United Nations in 1992, Thomas Banyacya, Kykotsmovi, Arizona, stated that "the Hopi and all original native people hold the land in balance by prayer, fasting and performing ceremonies" and "if we humans do not wake up to the warnings, the great purification will come to destroy this world just as the previous worlds were destroyed".
For centuries, the Hopi prophecies have been passed down orally, but many are found on rock pictographs. The Hopi prophecies indicate that we are in the final days of this Age.

The Hopi speak of two paths - a lower path and an upper path. The lower path keeps us in harmony with natural law (technology) and the upper path keeps us in line with spiritual harmony and builds a bridge between the two paths which can lead us to a paradise in this world.
This skeptic does share the Hopi belief in that JUST talk will not help us to have real peace and harmony. The dire prophecies depend on our decisions, and as Christians we put our trust in Jesus Christ and believe the prophecy of Isaiah (which seems to be in harmony with the Hopi Indians prophecy) in Chapter 2: 4 which tells us: "And He shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they SHALL BEAT THEIR SWORDS INTO PLOWSHARES, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more."

Looking back in history, many of the prophecies have been correct and it would only stand to reason that if we continue in our patterns, the earth too, will continue in it's own pattern.

Great change can come if we each take responsibility for creating that change ourselves.
I received a beautiful email today I wanted to share with you. I could go into details but I think it explains itself. Twin flames are on the rise and we will be here to help:
A few months ago I started to research twin flames on the internet. Before I go any further I need to put in my own disclaimer. The term 'twin flame' makes me anxious as hell. I am grappling with enough already. Yet I will contradict myself and say I have experienced the same things that others who call this a 'twin flame' do. Moving on. I finally gave myself permission to investigate this experience that has been a part of my life for over twenty years. One evening I got the courage and put the following on the Google search page; 'Twin Flame Famous'. I was not surprised at the amount of anonymous posts I found. People explaining they were not crazy yet needed some guidance. They were asking the familiar questions. What is this about? Is it true? What should I do? I was rather saddened to see how many of these posts went unanswered. The person who wrote them was nowhere to be found. Contact information expired or was erased. I felt sad and completely understood what it must be like for the person asking for guidance and what it must be like for them to not be heard or taken seriously.
Then I found myself on Debbie's site. I read through rather quickly skimming for signs of validity. I went straight to her first post, specifically reading the responses from readers. Once again I was not surprised. Some believed her. People asked valid questions. Others felt threatened because it was they who had the connection, not her. Then the rest just questioned her motives. I found myself asking why we are so critical of someone's desire to share their truth? Why is it wrong to want to be heard or validated? Who among us does not want these things?
A few weeks later I returned to Debbie's blog for a second look. I slowed down and read the exchanges between Debbie and her readers. What was clear to me was how loving she was to everyone. She thanked everyone for their opinion. She did not claim to have any special hold on Michael. She acknowledges he has touched many people and there are others who have had their own experiences. I bet this was hard for her but she did it. The Biblical phrase "By their fruits you shall know them' kept coming to mind. I could not help but be reminded of the first time I watched Marianne Williamson on Oprah. Every time Marianne was challenged she responded lovingly.
Then I read a blog post Debbie wrote about how hard it was after Michael died. I could no longer be silent. A soul sister yelled 'FIRE'. I put my personal self aside and showed up with my bucket of water. This journey is difficult. I have no doubt if you are reading this you know that already. After all I bet you are on this site looking for answers. Adding the element of fame to this experience is probably something only someone else having the similar experience can understand.
I promise you we don't choose to be connected to someone in the public eye. As Lady Gaga so eloquently put it, 'Baby we were born that way!' Like Debbie awareness the awareness was there in our childhood. You may think we are nuts. Go ahead, we thought so too. Yet there comes a time when we are left with no other option than to acknowledge the truth. Why you may ask? Well despite how the outside world responds, the Universe keep telling us the experience is true in the most magnificent ways.

Integrity (from Wikipedia) is a concept ofconsistency of actions, values, methods, measures, principles, expectations, and outcomes. In ethics, integrity is regarded as the honesty and truthfulness or accuracy of one's actions. Integrity can be regarded as the opposite of hypocrisy, in that it regards internal consistency as a virtue, and suggests that parties holding apparently conflicting values should account for the discrepancy or alter their beliefs.
The word "integrity" stems from the Latin adjective integer (whole, complete). In this context, integrity is the inner sense of "wholeness" deriving from qualities such as honesty and consistency of character. As such, one may judge that others "have integrity" to the extent that they act according to the values, beliefs and principles they claim to hold.
I am sure if you read the above definition you may be able to apply it to yourself, people you know, and/or situations. Recently, for instance, there has been news on Michael Jacksons death. AEG, the company who was promoting his series of concerts was asked to produce documents related to his death to the insurance company they were asking for compensation for their losses from. AEG, although they state they are a very professional company, doing no wrong, failed to produce a series of emails that were asked for as well as providing the insurance company with factual information. And although some may question the "internet conspiracy" theories on Michael's death, some may also find it fascinating that the Michael Jackson Estate executors are continuing to pursue monitary compensation from the insurance company. I am unclear as to whether this was a private policy held by the estate, by Michael himself, or an agreement they had with AEG. As far as I know, and of course I could be wrong, but most companies have to have grounds to file suit. If the policy was enstated to protect the interests of AEG for the entertainer they were endorsing for the show, what grounds would the Estate have to file a grievance unless they entered into a policy or agreement knowing the final outcome.
Back in the days of slavery there were many politicians that were considered highly respected and good men. Say a bad word about them and it would go unbelieved. One such man was George Washington. He was good wasn't he? We all remember the apple tree story right? Truth be known, however, true integrity stands not only outside but within an individual. In order for us to change anything in this world we must stand firmly in our beliefs of equality and peace, both inside and out. We have around us a system that likes to bend the truth to fit with what they want the public to believe. This systematic approach is within our governments and within our corporations and business, as evidenced above.
I've recently run into an article about the George Washington and his slaves. I don't think that many of us even think of him having them. However, his slaves were said to be treated very badly. In 2002 the government even tried to cover up the fact that they existed. Slavery was bad enough in and of itself, but trying to cover up the fact that it existed is just absurd. If you ever saw the movie "The Sixth Sense" where the boy is talking to dead people and the teacher asks him where the capital is, after you read this article you'll understand his answer and will maybe even have a new perspective on that part of the movie.
There are several factors that can lead someone to losing their integrity. Greed is one. As posted below Michael saw this in many places, even in the churches. The lyrics in the song are powerful.

Where the ego is concerned there is a block of memory. What part of me is the ego and what part is my real self? Sometimes we think of ego as a big head. Sometimes we think it's the justification we feel in being right. Ego is not either, but a part of yourself that extends beyond your reason. It is the small voice that tells you to judge one another, to be part of the bigger picture, to let yourself be held captive to the thoughts and ideas that have been projected by society for eons.
Letting the ego go can be difficult. We often find ourselves among friends and family who help support our ego. Saying things like "He is the best marketing person you can find" or "See Johny Tate over there, he's rich." Statements like this tend to make us believe that we are either rich or a marketing person, when in reality, we are neither. God did not intend to create a "marketing person" or a "rich person". Both are simply indications that there has been energy at play and the results that manifested show up as this or that. The ego then tends to define these things by naming them as a rich person or a marketing person.
In yoga philosophy they have a story about a pen. That when you first look at it and ask what it is everyone defines it as "a pen". The story continues then, however, because to a cat it may be "a toy" or to a baby it may be "a stick". Definitions then come from us. Definitions and the boxing in of any idea about a person, a place or even a situation all come from the ego and our own perceptions. When it is often defined as "Edging God Out", it goes beyond that. It is the human constriction of an idea that is the ego. It is constricted, not open to allow other thoughts or ideas to enter, it is tight, not allowing for the flow of God's energy through, and it is selfish, always seeking to fulfill itself instead of others.
Shifting the ego then is to be open to a situation, even though the ego may say it is bad. To not judge, even though our ego says a person may be bad. To give, even though we may want to take for ourselves.
Little shifts, little changes in thought and little deeds can all help us shift from the ego into the divine part of ourselves. It is there that the ego begins to die and the true light of our being begins to shine.
What does it mean to love yourself? Does it mean when you look in the mirror you love the image you see? That when you go to bed at night you love what you did that day?
Many of us use these things to gauge love in our outer world. If we date someone we look at what they look like, judge what they do for a living or where they have been to school. Not realizing none of these things actually are who the person is.
What is the deeper meaning of loving another or even loving ourselves? It stems from an age old idea of compassion. Compassion for ourselves and others. Knowing that what we do should not be disregarded but held in a place in our hearts for understanding on a higher level. Understanding that we make mistakes and that is what brings us into our higher learning. Knowing that others too will make mistakes that will ultimately bring them into a higher form of understanding.
The level of the mistake is inconsequential. It can be someone who has murdered another or someone who had inadvertently hurt anothers feelings. Both actions create consequence and both create opportunities to overcome and learn from the heart an opportunity to elevate oneself to the next level.
Compassion for oneself means to look at what we do and who we think we are from a point of divinity. If you were the God, Allah, the higher power looking down at yourself you most likely would look upon yourself with compassion and love. Doing so allows you the freedom to grow and doesn't constrict you to a set of rules and guidelines about who you are but allows for who you are becoming.
So hold loosely the thought about who you are and look compassionately at yourself. Loving yourself allows yourself to look in the mirror and instead of saying look at those god aweful fat rolls, look at yourself as God Himself would and say "Look at how beautiful a being I am. Filled with potential and blossoming into my own divine self."
Michael would say be open like a child. Open to the possibility of all things instead of the limitations. Open to love who you are becoming. Not limiting yourself on who you might think you are. Just love.
What sets your thoughts into motion? An emotional trigger, a bizarre event, someone accusing you of something you didn't do, or even an emotional hangup that's been bothering you for years. Sometimes when we begin thinking about a problem or event we hardly realize that we are creating our own struggles internally, wrapping energetic cords around our very souls, almost as if we are suffocating ourselves with emotional and mental anguish.
Ouch! When I was given this information this morning boy it hurt. I had been reliving past hurts that reared their ugly head again. How difficult it is to sometimes just let go. It is in the thought that "I can't believe people can be so cruel" part that always starts my thoughts to reeling. Sooner than later, it's just that one thought that begins it's own journey within my being. That thought spurs another, then it is the feeling of extreme hurt that encompasses my being. My heart shuts down and my shoulder round, closing off my heart center, protecting myself from further hurt. I begin to withdrawl more, not wanting to be hurt again and so the cycle continues and I lead myself down a road that eventually goes no where.
It's hard to start again after an emotional trauma, a hurt that is perceived or caused by another. Our natural tendency is to protect ourselves, and many times we do this without even realizing it. Michael told a story many years ago about a dog named Black Girl that is similar and he also gave us a glimpse on how we might take ourselves out of the hurt: When I was very young I remember that we had this crazy mutt of a dog named "Black Girl," a mix of wolf and retriever. Not only wasn't she much of a guard dog, she was such a scared and nervous thing that it is a wonder she did not pass out every time a truck rumbled by, or a thunderstorm swept through Indiana. My sister Janet and I gave that dog so much love, but we never really won back the sense of trust that had been stolen from her by her previous owner. We knew he used to beat her. We didn't know with what. But whatever it was, it was enough to suck the spirit right out of that dog.
A lot of kids today are hurt puppies who have weaned themselves off the need for love. They couldn't care less about their parents. Left to their own devices, they cherish their independence. They have moved on and have left their parents behind.
Then there are the far worse cases of children who harbour animosity and resentment toward their parents, so that any overture that their parents might undertake would be thrown forcefully back in their face.
Almost a decade ago, I founded a charity called Heal the World. The title was something I felt inside me. Little did I know, as Shmuley later pointed out, that those two words form the cornerstone of Old Testament prophecy. Do I really believe that we can heal this world, that is riddled with war and genocide, even today? And do I really think that we can heal our children, the same children who can enter their schools with guns and hatred and shoot down their classmates, like they did at Columbine? Or children who can beat a defenceless toddler to death, like the tragic story of Jamie Bulger? Of course I do, or I wouldn't be here tonight.
But it all begins with forgiveness, because to heal the world, we first have to heal ourselves. And to heal the kids, we first have to heal the child within, each and every one of us. As an adult, and as a parent, I realise that I cannot be a whole human being, nor a parent capable of unconditional love, until I put to rest the ghosts of my own childhood.
And that's what I'm asking all of us to do tonight. Live up to the fifth of the Ten Commandments. Honour your parents by not judging them. Give them the benefit of the doubt.
That is why I want to forgive my father and to stop judging him. I want to forgive my father, because I want a father, and this is the only one that I've got. I want the weight of my past lifted from my shoulders and I want to be free to step into a new relationship with my father, for the rest of my life, unhindered by the goblins of the past.
In a world filled with hate, we must still dare to hope. In a world filled with anger, we must still dare to comfort. In a world filled with despair, we must still dare to dream. And in a world filled with distrust, we must still dare to believe.
Letting ourselves be free to love and believe is perhaps the greatest gift we can give the world and ourselves. Don't ever let the pain in your life become your life.
We are already hearing from many Scorpio friends and clients, especially those born in late October that Saturn is definitely testing them.
Saturn is called the teacher and karmic taskmaster, astrologically speaking. Whenever he moves into a new sign, which he did earlier this month (From Libra to Scorpio), he moves into a new area of our natal charts, wanting to teach us a new lesson. Usually that lesson is about taking responsibility for something in our lives. Saturn brings us challenges and tests and then rewards us when his visit is over, which will be about 37 months from now. So yes, we'll be in school for a while with Saturn, our teacher. Work hard, no matter what zodiac sign you are, the next three and half years and you will receive many rewards. Slack off, don't do the homework or learn much and life may become difficult.
Saturn in Scorpio is different than Saturn in Libra we have dealt with the past several years. Scorpio drives us to the depths of our soul, to the root of the issue. It breaks life down so it can be rebuilt. Libra wanted us to learn about our relationships. Scorpio wants us to go deeper, to soul level. You will learn what lies beneath the surface in your relationships. Secrets and well as a greater understanding of your life and love come to the surface. Fellow astrologer and Pisces D.K. says it best, and I quote: "The question Saturn in Scorpio will be asking us is, "How can you become the authority of your life if you don't know who you are and what you truly want and need (and fear) on the deepest level of your being?"
Saturn in Scorpio is about getting real.
Any decisions you make in your life or changes between now and November 14th are for real.....they are permanent. You can't take the action back. Be careful of hasty action. You may want to prove a point and teach someone a lesson but don't do it. If you tell your lover it's over and I never want to see you again (between now and mid November), then it's permanent. If you walk off of the job and then decide you made a big mistake and want your job back, you won't be able to get it back. Be careful of taking action now. If you are sure of your actions, proceed because the results will be around for the next 29.5 years. But if you are unsure and you act, those decisions will be full of consequences. If you are not sure if you want to get married, then don't walk down the aisle. If you are not sure you want to get pregnant, then don't do it now. Avoid commitments...especially long term right now. But this is a great time if you are truly ready to commit to something or someone to do just that. For instance, if you want to change your eating habits or make a lifestyle change, this is the perfect time to do so. Dropping weight, exercising, working on health issues....all good and you can create permanent routines you will carry with you.
We've got the new moon in Libra on the 15th, which is a great period to start a new relationship or partnership. Make a wish list for what you want in a relationship and post it on your vision board. Holding onto past patterns in our lives disrupts our ability to strengthen our resources in coming to terms with who we are. We adhere to that which seems familiar to us and not to that which is new and not experienced yet. Being open to change means to embrace everything that comes your way. To hold the experience lightly without judgement and without fear.
Moving forward in your life takes only small steps. Perhaps there is a goal you have in mind, something that you would like to do that seems to be beyond your reach. Taking small steps to get there will be much more tolerable than to overwhelm yourself with the big picture. Ask what is it that I need to do today to point myself in the right direction for where I want to be tomorrow? It could be that you don't eat that extra donut, you walk to work instead of taking the car, write down your business idea, or even meditate for at least five minutes. The point is in taking just a small step, doing just one thing a day that leads you down your path. In time, your dream will be realized and you yourself will have nothing that stands in your way of your dream.
There is much in the works and I've received a few emails recently that prompted me to update you on some of it.
Some people are currently experiencing difficulty on the twin flame path. It's not easy and for those who are on the path and their friends and family members who are not, it can be extremely lonely and painful. The point is, we must remember that this path first and foremost is a spiral movement into union with your higher self. This means your experiences and lessons are not your friends, they do not belong to your family, this path is between you and God - no one else. Let me explain further, because I can hear the question "well what about my flame?"
Although your flame is a part of you, you must obtain your personal union first. You must become whole before you unite with your flame. Union will be with the higher self and this union is not able to occur until you yourself do the work to get there. Sometimes it will be actions, sometimes like God Himself, it will be a rest. Nothing can be forced, and like nature and the seasons, everything will happen in it's own divine time.
As I've said before more and more flames are coming together now. There has been an increased interest in spiritual things and people are beginning to question where they are and where they should be. We are becoming conscious.
My path with my twin flame is to help others come into awareness. If you read the book, you'll understand our purpose together and the work that needs to be done. This is why I will be taking The Man in the Mirror Project to another level. Looking within and at ourselves is the work that is necessary to bring ourselves into union with our higher selves and with our flames. In essence, that's exactly why the project was started.
I have been honored with the agreement of Dr. Maurie Pressman to assist with this project. His work in the field for over 40 years lends credibility, integrity and a great deal of experience to the project. His recent book Living in the Supermind mirrors the lessons that have been handed to me by those on the other side that wish this work to continue. There is much at work in our world and many divine beings who wish us to be free and full of light and knowledge. Michael will be working with me, as he has been working with others. He isn't the pop star that's being stampeded by paparazzi these days, he is the spiritually enlightened being he always was, helping in any way he can.
So as we go forward, you can look towards a Man in the Mirror Project website. We will eventually have lessons for downloading, video trainings, and opportunities to not only join the project but teach in your area as well. We are all one humanity. To further this effort we must work together with the gifts each of us have recieved. Perhaps you are gifted with knowledge you would like to share with others. This is the greatest gift you can give humanity - the gift of service and of yourself. We all have them, they are all different and not only make us unique individuals, but necessary individuals in the whole. Man in the Mirror Project Participants and Sponsors may be someone who teaches meditation, someone who instructs children with art or music; all the things necessary to expand the gateway into consciouness and union with our higher selves.

In 2009 when Michael passed, I was torn apart inside. I had everything taken from me in a single swoop. Not only did Michael die, but my marriage was over, my parents abandon me, my dog died, friends walked away that I had supported through the years, and I had to find a new way of living for my children and I. I was left alone, with no one to count on but a higher power.
I felt damaged, isolated and afraid. I couldn't understand why after everything in my life that had happened why I would somehow be punished. How why after trying so hard to do the "right" thing and to be kind, how the world around me and people could be so cruel.
Sometimes things seem different on the outside however. For as the days progressed I found that I wasn't being punished at all, just initiated into the next stage of my individual evolution.
I was crying in the bathroom. There wasn't one part of me that wanted to stay on the earth. For me there wasn't a reason to live. No one cared about what I was going through, no one asked how I felt and who really would care if I left?
It was one of those moments that they say all women have at one time or another. Those moments you are lying on the bathroom floor, crying your eyes out all alone. The pain was deep and it seemed I couldn't get a handle on anything. I looked up out a small window at a tree I loved to look at each morning. To me trees are the silent witnesses. They stand silently but acknowledge all of life all around them. They are content with just "being" and have always reminded me how I should be.
So as I gazed out this day, even the tree seemed dim. It leaves were torn from beetles infesting it and it seemed I couldn't even hold the tree in my heart at that moment. I hung my head in defeat, when a voice behind me asked "Would you have me take this tree just because it's leaves are torn and damaged?" They were not words from a person, but words from someone on the other side. I thought to myself for a moment. I would never want the tree as damaged as it was taken, it's mere presence made a difference in my life. It was at that moment that I realized the message: that no matter how damaged I thought I was, my mere presence in the world just might make a difference to someone.
It was one of the best lessons in my life, so I shared it with my next yoga class. Giving each of them a torn leaf from the tree, I explained to them that no matter how alone we might feel at times that when they looked at the leaf I wanted them to remember that their mere presence made a difference in this world. So I offer you a leaf today and will say to you as well, no matter how hard and alone life may seem at times, your mere presence makes a difference.
Listening to your inner guidance not only takes practice and time, but the ability to go inward without taking our preconceived ideas and beliefs with us. Some have asked, "How is it that you know it's your inner guidance or even a spirit guide or departed loved one instead of yourself?" The answer is sometimes simple. It is the ability to know that when the answer to the question comes it comes from a place so quickly you haven't had the time to think about it.
Some may say that if you are speaking to loved ones on the other side, you may be "open". You have created an open channel for communication to transpire. Similarly when you attempt to create a dialog with your inner guidance or higher self you must open a channel or create space.
Creating space or the opening often entails the ability to still the mind. Meditation, yoga, running, anything that can help you be present in the moment can help you achieve this space. Allowing the mind to rest while the higher self is given the opportunity to encompass the space, resonating within you and giving you the guidance you need.
Conspiracy: In criminal law a conspiracy is an agreement between two or more persons to commit a crime at some time in the future. Criminal law in some countries or for some conspiracies may require that at least one overt act must also have been undertaken in furtherance of that agreement, to constitute an offense. There is no limit on the number participating in the conspiracy and, in most countries, no requirement that any steps have been taken to put the plan into effect.

The Michael Jackson-Tommy Mottola standoff is heading into new territory. A serious source close to Jackson told me yesterday: "There is correspondence between Michael and Tommy that will show why Michael has done what he's done. When it comes out it will clear the whole thing up. It's all about Tommy goading Michael to respond the way that he has."
My source says that on more than one occasion he has been present during speaker calls between Jackson and Sony Music President Tommy Mottola in which Mottola "threatened" Jackson. "Not physical threats, but certainly the threat that Michael would be destroyed and his career would be over if he didn't agree to Tommy's terms. It's Tommy saying 'I'll ruin you.'" The basis for all this? "The Beatles catalog," says my source. "That's it in a nutshell. This has all been done by Tommy in an effort to squeeze Michael financially. Tommy wants the Beatles catalog." Most importantly, as I wrote in this space on June 18, Jackson is not doing this to get a better deal at Sony. As that column stated, and as this source reconfirmed for me, Michael's recording contract with Sony is over. His last release from the label will be a greatest hits set at Christmas containing four previously unreleased tracks. Jackson leaves Sony in debt, with no assets. His album catalog — Off the Wall, Thriller, Bad, Dangerous, History, Blood on the Dance Floor, and Invincible — will remain at Sony/Epic Records. His Beatles catalog is mortgaged to Sony Publishing. His own song catalog containing "Billie Jean," "Beat It" and other hits — is published by Warner/Chappell Music. But Michael has used that catalog for loans totaling millions of dollars. He is, essentially, tapped out. Hence the current behavior bordering on frenzy in which Michael is running around New York with a megaphone screaming like a stuck pig. It's as if he awoke from a long, deep coma to find his financial house on fire, and Mottola standing there with the matches.
Some critics may say Jackson has only himself to blame. They are not far from wrong. Last year I told you that sources at Sony Recording Studios claimed Michael had spent tens of millions of Sony's dollars on remastering his old records. Some tracks were remastered 20 or more times before Jackson picked one he liked. Jackson ignored the mounting costs, letting Sony pick up the bills. He seemed to have no idea that one day there would be a final accounting.
Jackson's personal costs are also exorbitant even by celebrity standards. He keeps a personal staff of 120 people including those who run and maintain the Neverland Ranch in Los Olivos, Calif. The zoo that's kept on the ranch, which includes many animals not usually seen as house pets, costs a fortune to maintain. Sources told me last year that Bubbles the Chimp, Michael's most famous non-human friend, died from neglect.
The question of whether or not Jackson has any money left was answered last summer. That's when Michael was forced to use a diamond watch valued at $2 million as collateral for a bank loan with Bank of America/NationsBank. Jackson had taken the watch on approval from a Beverly Hills jeweler. When he returned it damaged, the jeweler demanded payment. Jackson, not having the funds, took the watch and then used it to raise the money.
It wasn't Jackson's only loan.
This column reported on April 19 just a portion of Jackson's business dealings. Jackson's banker, a senior vice president at the Bank of America who has worked closely on Jackson's accounts, told me then: "I've kept him alive for 20 years. And it's not that the advice he gets is bad. It's him. He's his own worst enemy."

How can Sony own the rights to his unreleased songs when his contract with Sony and any material to be released was over in 2002?
Bad 25 Anniversary Edition released by Sony Legacy: CD2 - A CD containing previously unreleased material recorded in Michael's personal studio at Hayvenhurst. This material includes early demo versions of songs from the album as well as demos for songs not included on the final album. All of this material is being released as it was recorded during the BAD sessions. Nothing has been added or changed. In addition, this CD also includes new remixes from internationally renowned DJ/producers.
Happiness is a feeling many describe as a feeling of joy. "I am happy because I just made the football team, I am happy because I just won the lottery or I am happy because I found the one I truly love."
True happiness, however, lies beyond the temporary upliftment of emotions through a single event. True happiness is that which takes you on a journey through your thoughts and emotions and plays your part in the mystery of life.
When happiness comes it is an invisible force. One that yields the senses into something miraculous. When I feel happy I am content. I am in solitude because it is I and I alone that experience "my" happiness. I am free from worry. I am content with what is and know that all things are apt to change.
What then is there other than true happiness? What other things in this life are worth being sad for? Is it not the emotion and time invested in it that makes it what it is? Does the emotion or the thoughts associated with the emotion make anything better? If not, then why be anything but happy?
Happiness lies in the knowledge that our creator is all that we ever need We define our own happiness when we simply realize we are the only ones that can make us happy.
A few months ago I was asked about what Michael and I had talked about lately. I told him he was concerned about his family; they were trying to do the same thing to them as they did to him. Control, power, and manipulation are traits this world is better off without, but unfortunately there are some that continue to use the same to create chaos in the world. These are the "patterns" put into play by ignorant minds that drift our world into chaos. This blind force repeats constantly mechanical patterns of manipulation which achieve very little and in the end arrive nowhere.
In the world, we have people in governments and in industry that still use these patterns. We, as we attempt to ascend and bring ourselves into higher awareness, must always contend with them even though if given a choice, we would much rather not.
There are many "tests" that will be placed on your path before arriving at a place of union with yourself. Many can be made very confusing and some are quite manipulative and evil. There are jealousies, false hierarchies, tampering with truth, and every sort of misqualified pattern of energy present in our world. The key is to "discern" what pattern is present, then act or not act accordingly.
Many years ago there was a book entitled "The Celestine Prophecy". It spoke about people and the energies that are played between them. Some simply solicit your energies by starting an argument and engaging your energies in conflict. If you don't engage, however, don't act or react, then there is no argument and no one wins or loses. You simply have "ascended" the situation and therefore have passed the test.
Another "test" on the path might include the pressure to "just give up". When you have truth, when you have made it clear your intention is to stand in that truth and stand in your faith, some may employ clever tactics to get you to quit before you win the race. They may say things to ruin your confidence, instill fear and even spread lies to ruin your reputation, as they did with Michael and are now doing with his sister Janet.
Recent news reports include a letter from her attorney that was sent in response to recent news that she held up her brothers funeral. You might notice that Janet has within the past few months spoken out about injustices with her brothers death. Isn't it ironic that after all these years of an impecable reputation Ms Jackson is just now hit with so much bad press?
So what's a girl (or guy) to do in a situation like this? Are they going to set her up for child molestation too or will they try to be more clever?
Here is what Michael did. He didn't give up. That's what they want you to do. You make a conscious decision to stick with it by the grace of God, whatever the situation is. Do not yield an inch of ground. You can't quit because everyone around you is corrupt or faithless. You stay and you stay again because God is testing your staying power, your faith in him that through you he will work wonders.
Don't ever leave a situation simply because it is in protest to those who wish to obscure the truth. If something is in your heart, it most likely is aligned with the intentions of God the father. Within it, then, you must build your alter of fire, knowing that the work you do will eventually cut you free to do higher work and allow those that hide behind their lies to be judged.
Don't allow yourself to be fooled by the "outer things". What "appears" to be bleak may only be an illusion. Remember even the devil himself, Lucifer, was said to be the most beautiful of angels before he rebelled. Outer appearances sometimes have nothing to do with what lies beneath.
So if you find yourself in similar situations, try not to be disheartened, but rise to the test. Proving your worth and faith in something more powerful, allowing yourself to become who it is you truly are. And for those who are trying to ruin the reputation of yet another member of the Jackson family, I thought you would know. You can't call her Janet, it's Ms Jackson if you're Nasty.
For centuries people around the world have held their hands in prayer, speaking within to a higher source. Where did this "putting the hands" together come from and what does it really represent?
In some philosophies the position of the hands represents what's called a "mudra", which symbolizes a particular message. Gregg Braden tells us in his book, Awakening to Zero Point, that the hands have layers of circuitry which connect the primary points of something called "chakras" to various portions of our body. That internal organs have “contact points” located on the surface of the skin. In eastern medicine, these pathways of current that run through our body are called meridians. It is along these meridian lines that precise contact points are identified and used in the ancient sciences of acupressure and acupuncture.
In the fleshy tip of each finger is an electrical point that proves direct access to a chakra zone through one or more meridians. Each fingertip is associated with one primary chakra,
When we hold our hands in the prayer position, the hands are placed as such to communicate with God, the Creator. This "mudra" of prayer is that of the hands facing one another in front of the body, fingers extended with the tips and palms touching one another.
Each fingertip, through touching the opposite hand fingertips, completes the circuits and provides access to the associated chakras simultaneously. It is enhanced through the contact of the large chakra point located in the center of each hand, the palm chakra. It is through these points, the fingertips and palm chakras that energy-information-light is directed to other parts of the body. For many, these techniques are almost instinctual, as they mirror a “knowing” from another aspect of their being. Through the science of this prayer mudra it may become an intentional process of acknowledging a “oneness” with all of creation and thereby channeling divine energy within our very beings.

There are many parts to us. There is a personality, a energetic pattern of thoughts, a vibration that resonates with the universe, and a higher self that is most often called the soul.
When we are living our day to day lives, we often take part in our world through the thoughts we have created through our personality and current vibration of energy. Sometimes, however, we get inklings of another source of power and information, the higher self. Sometimes people describe this experience as a nudging, just a feeling, a knowing, or sometimes even a "something told me" event. These types of experiences are most often the higher self breaking through with knowledgeable information. It is here where the most good can be learned and here where most often the real direction for our lives is as well as the other parts to ourselves.
The higher self is the part that is connected to the whole, the part that has access to the higher power and the part that is in union with your twin soul. It is the peeling away of the personality and negative energetic patterns and karma that allows the higher self to reveal itself. Coming into contact with the higher self means coming into union with the all and coming back to the whole.
The voice of the higher self speaks within. It is the still small voice that not only is words in the mind, but a feeling as well. The difference between the higher self and your thoughts that have been created is just that. It is the accompanying feeling of "knowing" that resonates within your entire being. It is different than a passing thought. It says "I know" instead of "I think".
Try listening to the higher self, making decisions based on the "knowing" instead of the thinking part when you have quiet, still moments. It is here where the best decisions for your life will be made and here where the universe begins to conspire to bring the best to your life as well.
Believe in the extraordinary. Look to the stars. Hope for the eternal and everything in your sights will be yours.
Mankind has spent many millennium searching for the truth of his existence, the truth of life itself. From philosophers, to magicians and to the scientists, each has brought with it a glimmer of knowledge and parts of the real truth behind our creation.
If we look back in history, there has never been such a grand quest for the eternal. The plight of the human being is not in his findings but in his ignorance to what has been within him all along.
If I took a tooth and placed it before you, what would you say it was? Just a tooth, empty and plain? Or would it be described more accurately as an instrument, designed magnificently by our creator to grind and lessen the work of digesting food into our bodies so that we may nourish them? If I gave you a song, one which made you feel happy and upbeat, would you call it just a song that was amazing or an amazing energy vibration that effected you so much it allowed you to vibrate at a higher frequency for the rest of the day?
Looking at our lives, our perfect manifestations of the creations that we are this way allows the extraordinary back into our lives and lifts us up from the ordinary. As your week begins may you allow the ordinary to drop away and begin to live the extraordinary. Wonder at your existence and your existence will begin to wonder back at you.
