Keeping an Eye in the Sky - Maria Shaw Lawson's Astro Forecast

Winter Solstice and New Moon!

Our Winter Solstice charts gives a sneak peak as to what's ahead for the next three months until the Spring Equinox. The shortest day of the year and the first day of winter occurs on Sunday, December 21st at 6:04 pm eastern time. The Winter Solstice hits just hours before the New Moon on December 21st and it's at a very strong degree.... zero degrees Capricorn. Expect big changes, big decisions and people will feel strongly about taking action to restructure their lives. Watch for big announcements from relationships both professionally and personally. Companies may make sweeping changes in the 90 days from the new moon and people may move closer to or away from their commitments. Yes, this means you will hear news of Marriage or Divorce in your circle or in Hollywood.

A lot of people will be learning something new or perhaps starting a new job in which they will undergo new training. Some of you reading this may be thinking of taking classes for a college winter semester.

Crazy Uranus turns direct December 21 too. Uranus has to do with unexpected changes, disruptions, and radical ideas people want to push on you.

Beginning December 21st, Uranus starts to move forward, slowly. It will continue to move forward until late July. When Uranus moves forward, new inventions are created. So if there is an idea you've been pondering for a while, it may get a jumpstart over the winter solstice.

This will also be a time to be extra careful on the roadways and while traveling. Mercury squares Uranus and conjuncts Pluto then so please are extra careful December 21 through the end of the year. You will see a lot of accidents out there and they peak December 24th. So be careful please.

Last Monday, Jupiter went retrograde and will stay in that position until April 7. This is a great time to rework and reexamine something you've been doing or hoping to do since last July. I think this Jupiter retrograde will really help us with second chances and reviewing what we want to do with personal goals. Wherever you have the sign of Leo in your chart is where you will be reviewing your goals. So use this time and the energy of the new moon to help you realize some old dreams are worth dusting off...and making come true! Enjoy the season! Maria

Man in the Mirror PROJECT: Characteristics of Emotionally Abused People

This is a list from a book by Janet Geringer Woititz.

  • Can only guess at what healthy behavior is.
  • Have trouble completing things
  • Lie when they don't need to. Lying might have been a survival tactic in the home. (She explains that perhaps the child learned from parents who lied to cover up problems or avoid conflict. Or simply to avoid harsh punishment, or to get needed attention. But as an adult, that tactic is no longer helpful.)
  • Judges themselves without mercy.
  • Has trouble accepting compliments.
  • Often takes responsibility for problems, but not successes.
  • They may go to the other extreme and refuse to take any responsibility for mistakes while trying to take credit for the work of others.
  • Has trouble having fun since their childhoods were lost, stolen, repressed.
  • Takes themselves very seriously or not seriously at all.
  • Has difficulty with intimate relationships.
  • Expects others to just "know what they want." (They can't express it because they were so often disappointed as children that they learned to stop asking for things.)
  • Over-reacts to things beyond their control.
  • Constantly seeks approval & affirmation.
  • Feels different from others.
  • Are extremely loyal, even when facing overwhelming evidence that their loyalty is undeserved.
  • Are either super responsible or super irresponsible.
  • Tend to lock themselves into a course of action without giving serious consideration to alternative behaviors or possible consequences. (This impulsiveness leads to confusion, self-loathing, and loss of control over their environment. The result is they spend much energy blaming others, feeling victimized and cleaning up messes.)

She also makes this observation:

Intelligent people, through their ability to analyze, often realize things which are disconcerting, which others would not see. They also are often capable of feeling more deeply, both pain and joy.

List 2 Based on Recovery and Support Groups
  • We have feelings of low self- esteem (This is a result of being criticized too often as children and teenagers.)
  • We perpetuate these parental messages by judging ourselves and others harshly. We try to cover up our poor opinions of ourselves by being perfectionistic, controlling, contemptuous and gossipy.
  • We tend to isolate ourselves out of fear and we feel often uneasy around other people, especially authority figures.
  • We are desperate for love and approval and will do anything to make people like us. Not wanting to hurt others, we remain "loyal" in situations and relationships even when evidence indicates our loyalty is undeserved.
  • We are afraid of losing others.
  • We are afraid of being abandoned.
  • It is difficult for us to "let go."
  • We are intimidated by angry people and personal criticism. This adds to our feelings of inadequacy and insecurity.
  • We continue to attract emotionally unavailable people with addictive personalities.
  • We live life as victims, blaming others for our circumstances, and are attracted to other victims (and people with power) as friends and lovers. We confuse love with pity and tend to "love" people we can pity and rescue. And we confuse love with need.
  • We are either super-responsible or super-irresponsible. We take responsibility for solving others' problems or expect others to be responsible for solving ours. This enables us to avoid being responsible for our own lives and choices.
  • We feel guilty when we stand up for ourselves or act in our own best interests. We give in to others' needs and opinions instead of taking care of ourselves.
  • We deny, minimize or repress our feelings as a result of our traumatic childhoods. We are unaware of the impact that our inability to identify and express our feelings has had on our adult lives.
  • We are dependent personalities who are so terrified of rejection or abandonment that we tend to stay in situations or relationships that are harmful to us. Our fears and dependency stop us form ending unfulfilling relationships and prevent us from entering into fulfilling ones. Because we feel so unlovable it is difficult or impossible to believe anyone can really love us, and won't eventually leave us once they see how "bad" we are.
  • Denial, isolation, control, shame, and undeserved guilt are legacies from our family. As a result of these symptoms, we feel hopeless and helpless.
  • We have difficulty with intimacy, security, trust, and commitment in our relationships. Lacking clearly defined personal limits and boundaries, we become enmeshed in our partner's needs and emotions. We often become codependent.
  • We tend to procrastinate and have difficulty following project through from beginning to end.
  • We have a strong need to be in control. We overreact to change things over which we have no control.
List 3 Based on Research on Narcisisstic Peronality Disorder

  • Always apologizing for “never doing things right”
  • Trying to keep a low profile to avoid being noticed
  • Making up stories to others about the quality of your relationships
  • Blaming yourself for never doing things well enough
  • Always feeling anxious when ____ is around, or even when thinking of them returning or showing up
  • Feeling guilty for “making” _____ feel the way they do
  • Always confused about _______'s sudden changes in behavior
  • Frequently exhausted from never knowing what might happen next
  • Feeling like you have to “walk on eggshells” to avoid causing disapproval, judgment, anger.
  • Coming home to find Dr. Jekyll and suddenly discovering Mr. Hyde, and never knowing what caused the change
  • Never completely trusting ______
  • Never feeling respected or equal in the relationship
  • Always worrying about their performance and behavior
  • Often wondering if it’s OK if they phone or meet with friends or family
  • Having to ask permission to do anything / IE being afraid to do things without permission
  • Not being allowed to get a job or to start to become financially independent
  • Being afraid to give your opinion
  • Never or almost never being able to win any argument
  • Often wondering what you did “wrong”
  • Often wondering whether you deserved to be punished or treated the way ____ treated you for something you did or didn't do
  • Avoiding arguments at all costs
  • Always attempting to “try harder” to make things better
  • Chronically feeling empty
  • May periodically have suicidal thoughts
  • Wishing for “someday” when things will change, but someday never comes
  • After breaking up with their narcissistic partner, all they want to do is run back to them
  • Repeatedly making excuses for and forgiving their partner’s unacceptable behaviors, which continue to happen
  • Often wondering how they got into this situation to begin with
  • Always being told everything is their fault
  • Oftentimes feel humiliated by their partner
  • Constantly fearing abandonment by the partner, so “doing whatever it takes” to keep him or her
  • Doing things they are uncomfortable with because they feel pressured to do so
  • Compromising their values, needs, and beliefs because their partner wants them to
  • Discovering that the narcissist has frequently lied or misled them
  • Feeling like no one else could possibly love them
  • Believing they are not as important as their partner
  • Taking their partner’s advice, although their gut tells them not to
  • Feeling like they’re living a lie – that the outside world sees them one way, while the inner reality is definitely something entirely different
  • Feeling subservient or less-than their partner
  • Rarely feeling like their needs are being met or even acknowledged
  • Never doing anything unless their partner says it’s OK
  • Their friends tell them they are being abused, but they just can’t see it
  • Feeling like they are being parented – that they’re too immature or childish to be able to think on their own
  • Often wishing they would have never gotten into this mess to begin with and now don’t know how to get out
  • Frequently feeling numb or depressed
  • They no longer know who they really are
  • May end up looking like the “crazy one”

Magic and Love

"Magic is a state of grace.  A place your heart soars and when in doubt it sinks.  Magic can be uplifting, a floating state of wonderment, a gaze of discontent or a riddled life of doubt.  Magic can bring life to fruition, take you on a journey or leave you in puzzlement.  What magic can't do is pervade your life without you knowing it.

True magic exists in the heart of every human being.  We make magical moments by caring for one another in love.  We love because it's our natural state; not something forced by sheer will.  It's flowing and spiraling ever upward into the vastness of consciousness that we know on the other side as a state of one.

If you try to achieve magic your hands will fail.  Your mind will ponder.  Your doubt will need to cease. True magic is not something created, it's something allowed.  A space held within the mind and heart for what could be, what could have been and what's to come.  Magic comes in all forms, all shapes and sizes and in all ways.  You love magic when it manifests in your life as dreams that come true, people you have loved and the people who love you.  These are the moments in life we cherish most.  It's not the cars we drive or the houses we live in, but the experiences we have with others that lift us to our greatest heights.

The next time you think of magic, think of lifting yourself to a state of complete forgiveness and giving.  Then magic can manifest within you and out pour itself on the people around you.  Magic already lives in you, you only need to let it out.

Magic is the very breath of creation; our source, our guide, our loving companion on our road to wholeness.  Embrace magic and the magic of love will come to embrace you.

Are you bewildered?  Stymied?  Ridiculed with laughter?  Love knows no definition, love knows no binds.  It only lives, permeates, moves and embraces all that life has to offer.  Offer yourself to love and love will answer with the magic of life itself.  The true you, the divine essence of all that we are. This is love.  The true magic and elixir of life."

Man in the Mirror PROJECT: Misqualified Energy; The Magical Child

Yogash chitta virttinirodhah:
"We become whole by stopping how the mind turns."

Tada drashtuh svarupevasthanam. Virtti sarupyam itaratra:
"On that day the seer comes to dwell within his own real nature.  Otherwise it follows the form of the turning."

-Taken from Patanjali's Yoga Sutras

The masters teach us about misqualified energy.  Energy that is pure, misqualified by wrong thinking. If we allow ourselves to follow our misqualified thoughts, we continue in the turning of those thoughts, caught in the cycle of misqualified energy.

Examples of misqualified thoughts could be as simple as the repeated statement in your head that "I am weak.  I am fat.  I am not good enough."  All of these statements are misqualified thoughts because they are beliefs we perpetuate about ourselves; the misqualified energy we have created within our divine beings.  Our thoughts then become manifest in our every day lives.  As we believe, we act out on our beliefs and the cycle turns, as do our minds.

In our life's journey, we must come to the understanding that somewhere along the line we have not only created a misqualified thought or two about ourselves or of our world, but that those thoughts have actually limited us and created a feeling within that has permitted them to become dark.  Those dark places in the recesses of your mind that create ill will, ill feelings, self indulgence and insecurities.

All of life has uncertainties.  As life continues for each of us, we will be met with adversity, affliction and be exposed to the thoughts and beliefs of others.  Each of us have created in our own minds our own little world of thoughts and beliefs.  They stay with us and if we imagine each of us like a little planet, we can imagine our thoughts held within that planetary atmosphere, simply orbiting around one another.  You may be aware of another person's thoughts, but rarely do we ever glimpse what is truly held in anothers mind and feeling body.

Yet we like to believe that others should and do "think" like we do.  We gravitate to those with similar "beliefs" and we like to think "we" know the way things "should" be.  But do we?

Each of us has made mistakes in wrong thinking.  Sometimes that wrong thinking can lead us to addiction, drugs, self pity and "dark" feelings.  We churn the thoughts over and over again, because of the way someone has made us feel, something someone said, or the way other people have treated us. We have allowed another person's "misqualified energy" into our own little orbit.

Self mastery comes when we realize our true nature is that of the seer; the divine part of ourselves.  For there the thoughts are only thoughts and we can watch them pass as Jack Sparrow says, and simply wave at them as they pass by.

More Evidence on the Murder of Michael Jackson; A Note to John McClain

I am posting below two videos from someone who has done remarkable work in the investigative process of Michael's death.  She is known on the YouTube channel as LunaJo67.  I don't agree with all of her findings, but she's obviously done quite a bit of work on the videos and research.  These two videos stand out to me because of my personal findings.  The first confirms the stories about some of the timeline that I have stated here before, only much clearer, as the video and testimony is present for the men involved themselves.  I stated very early on things we were looking for in the Conrad Murray trial.  It was a list of evidence that I felt I needed to confirm, some of the information Michael had given me.  LunaJo's video helps me do that.

I was also connected to Michael in life.  As you might remember from my book Another Part of Me, I spoke about the day and week before Michael died.  Although I had my own personal struggles at that time, I had a clear sense of the time Michael passed.  A bird that had been pecking at my back window, came to the window of my bathroom that day.  That might sound strange to you, but birds have always been known as messengers.  Native Americans have used animal totems for years.  When they peck at a window, it is either communication from the dead or it proceeds an eminent death.  I was certain it had to be between 10:30 and 11:00 am when Michael passed.  I was working when I had heard the news and I had been working for several hours.

The time of 10:30 has come up several times in my posts.  One being the testimony from Randy Phillips himself.  You'll see in the video posted below Brian Oxman, the Jackson family attorney, stated that he received a phone call from Randy Phillips assistant just prior to noon.  That was approximately 1/2 hr before paramedics were ever even called.  That fact and also the statements made by Frank DiLeo, the stand in manager at that time for Michael, all elude to an earlier time known by some that calls to the fact that it was much earlier in the day than previously known that the events that led to his death were taking place.

I'm also re-posting one of my original posts from this blog from the opening day of the Conrad Murray trial in 2011.  This is the list of evidence we were seeking.  This list has now been confirmed.

9/27/11

Opening statements....

On this the opening day of statements in the Conrad Murray case, I will enter my own opening statement and reiterate again what I said before.  Michael Jackson did not kill himself.  He was given a "shot" when everything went black and passed.

Michael had a problem, he had issues with drugs, he had issues with sleep.  It does not mean he took matters into his own hands.  I'm sure the prosecution will show the lengths Michael went to to get in shape for any tour. The timeline in which will show Dr Murray negligent beyond a doubt.  As the trial progresses, I am looking for evidence to be presented as follows:
1.  Closet evidence
2.  Blood
3.  Missing documents from his office
4.  Time of death
5.  Rubber gloves
6.  The names of other people
7.  Needle marks
8.  other drug administrations
9.  Eating and diet/reduced appetite
10.  Condition of his body when paramedics arrived
11.  Paris/Prince testimony

This is such a heated case and very personal to many people.  I can only hope for the best outcome.  Unfortunately, I feel there will be much mud slinging and will keep on top of what is said with rebuttals.

As fans and onlookers if it was a member of our own family, I hope that your thoughts and prayers will be with the family at this time. *** end of post

I'm going to further this post just a bit more by posting another imperative video by LunaJo. This video shows the layout of Michael's home.  In it you'll see TWO staircases.  You might remember that it was Michael Amir Williams that told the security guard first on the scene to go to the "FRONT DOOR".  The security trailer was near the "side door".  He said he stated the front entrance because that door was always OPEN.  In other words, ANYONE could have come in that entrance, the door was already open.  If you're wondering how the people who killed Michael Jackson would have gotten in and out of the home that day, this is most likely your answer.  There were two staircases and two points of entry to the bedroom area where Michael was found.

I'll also add that the necklace that Michael was wearing I was told about previously by a medium named Mark Anthony.  When Elizabeth Taylor came to me and remarked about how awful the things were that they did to Michael were, I contacted Mark for a reading.  I didn't tell him who I was or who I wanted to contact.  I told Michael.  Mark started with evidence that he was speaking to my grandparents.  When I was a small girl my grandfather nicknamed me "Miss America".  He even bought me a sash for the title when I was about two years old.  Mark said he saw a sash with the title of something that was significant.  He then stated that my grandparents knew there was someone else I wanted him to speak with.  It was Michael, but Mark didn't know.  I simply wanted him to confirm it for me.

He started in about getting images of a castle like Disney World, then he saw Peter Pan.  Apparently Michael started to laugh, but then the story turned.  He said he was killed and the person who did it tore off his necklace.  That necklace I have recently discovered were the prayer beads Michael wore in the photo I previously posted and is in the evidence photo, broken on the bed.
When at the end of the reading I told Mark who it was, he was in disbelief.  First, he said, because he couldn't believe Michael would come to speak with him.  Second, he said, was because he thought Michael had a heart attack.  Both statements were not true.  I hope that clears his mind as to the evidence he gave me that day back in 2011.

Here is the video regarding the layout of the home.

Like I said I don't agree with all of the information in these videos.  Ms Chase you're a liar..  With the photos that have come out in testimony and this statement made regarding Michael's health I find it very difficult to believe Michael was eating and healthy:

Karen Faye, Michael's make-up artist said that costume director Michael Bush looked in horror at Michael's unclothed body before a dress rehearsal. He said “Oh my God. I could see Michael's heart beat through the skin of his chest.”
It was that same music director who revealed on June 16, 2009 that Michael was not able to sing live and dance. Michael had been putting down “tracks” to use during the show because of it.

Karen Faye, Michael's makeup artist testified Michael lost about 15 pounds in the week before he passed.

The Jackson family asserted in their complaint to AEG that Jackson suffered from a massive build-up of sleep deficiency and that affected his mood, his appetite and his sense of balance. The plaintiffs claimed AEG should have noted the symptoms and that Jackson suffered from chills and wrapped himself in blankets, had bouts of paranoia and had trouble grasping dance moves, according to emails to AEG executives.

Ortega was so disturbed by Jackson's state that he sent an email to Randy Phillips of AEG Live, the concert promoter, saying that "real emotional stuff" was going on and that "everything in me says that Jackson should be psychologically evaluated."

"There is no one taking responsibility, caring for him on a daily basis ... today I was feeding him, wrapping him in blankets ... and calling his doctor," Ortega wrote.

If you look back at my list from 2011, you'll find I had to wait until the AEG trial in 2013 for some of this evidence to come out.  I am STILL discovering MORE evidence to support what I have received.

Last but not least, I want to say THANK YOU to all the fans and people who have been so diligently working on Michael's behalf.  I could have only hoped other people, like the Estate of Michael Jackson, could have been so instrumental.  I suppose many of us know why they haven't.  In light of this, it is evident that when this all comes out, it will ALL have to come out. Mr McClain you are forcing my hand in this mess. Is that really what you and John want?  I am trying to play nice here, really.  I don't care how much money you've made.  I care about relinquishing Michael's death and legacy.  You DO have the power to do that.

From the "Other Side": LOVE

My first thought was to do some updates today, but a little inquiry with Mr. Jackson with the simple question "What should we write about today" has led me in another direction.  His answer may not surprise some regular readers of this blog; "Love"

Of course I rolled my eyes, lol, seriously! How much can we write about love?! He says we are going to write about it until we all get it.  So with that, lets see what they have in store for us on the "other side of the veil".

"Love is like a glass of water.  Some of us see it as half full, some of us see at as nothing; half empty.  It seems love can never fill us up.  We look for love in others, never stopping to love ourselves.  We are unable to complete ourselves when we always look outside of ourselves for something we think we don't have, or worse, don't deserve.

If I say you are made of love, I mean the very fibers of your being were made from a substance that has created all things in the universe.  The perfect manifestation of life itself.  It's the fiber that holds our very cells together.  The force that heals.  The force that permits us to go on and the force that leads us onto paths we never thought of.

We can search for love our entire lives and never achieve our goal, simply because we have not defined love for what it is.  It's not a substance, as much as it is a feeling.  It's the delight you find in a child's smile, the whisper from your angel or the loud thunder that rocks your very soul.

Love wakes you up, holds you, makes you warm and fills you with wonder.  Love cannot fill you up until you "feel" it.  Love is already within you.  Most of us need only "activate" that love again. Turn it up, make it louder, let it flow.  Like music, the very vibration of love can make you soar.

I liked to sing because singing brought me closer to love.  The feeling inside when you sing is like love in motion.  It's vibrant, wonderous, and lifts your spirit.  Think of a favorite song.  One you can hear and it changes your whole mood.  That's love.  That's the feeling love can bring you.

Next time you think you don't have love in your life, listen to your favorite song.  Hold the feeling within and know what love feels like.  Then hold that wonder again, every time you think you're not love.  It should be obvious.  You wouldn't be able to feel that love if it wasn't already inside of you."

Smarty pants! ;)  OK, OK, I stopped rolling my eyes! lol

Here's a little love being sent your way today:

Believing in the Magic

Believing in the magic applies to all of life.  When you believe your thoughts shift from what is to what could be.  Magic abounds in everything we do, everything we are, and in everything that exists.
Recognizing the magic of life is the first step in accessing your true identity.

Beliefs hold a special place within us.  If we believe we'll never succeed, chances are we'll never take the steps to succeed in the first place.  But if we believe we are capable of anything, suddenly our world opens and the possibilities abound.

Part of the work of our souls is believing.  When you believe in God, you pray.  When you believe in your children, you radiate pride.  When you believe that there is more to you than you could imagine, you begin to access the higher self, the source of all, and open yourself to opportunities in life.

The twin flame path has much to do with belief.  If we are fixed in our beliefs, then we may miss the opportunity of experiencing not only the magic of our lives, but the magic of our connection with another part of ourselves.  Believing it's possible, believing that there is a part of ourselves that is always in contact with the greater part of our being, opens our hearts and turns our inner ears within. We begin to listen to the quiet whispers of our very soul.

As the magic of Christmas slowly comes upon us and our thoughts turn to gifts, family and friends, give yourself a gift as well.  Allow yourself to believe in the magic of you.  Who you are inside, who you can become and the potential of magic you hold inside of you.  It only takes one thought, one wish, to fulfill some long held dreams and change the direction of our very lives.   We need only to "Believe".
