My first thought was to do some updates today, but a little inquiry with Mr. Jackson with the simple question "What should we write about today" has led me in another direction. His answer may not surprise some regular readers of this blog; "Love"
Of course I rolled my eyes, lol, seriously! How much can we write about love?! He says we are going to write about it until we all get it. So with that, lets see what they have in store for us on the "other side of the veil".
"Love is like a glass of water. Some of us see it as half full, some of us see at as nothing; half empty. It seems love can never fill us up. We look for love in others, never stopping to love ourselves. We are unable to complete ourselves when we always look outside of ourselves for something we think we don't have, or worse, don't deserve.
If I say you are made of love, I mean the very fibers of your being were made from a substance that has created all things in the universe. The perfect manifestation of life itself. It's the fiber that holds our very cells together. The force that heals. The force that permits us to go on and the force that leads us onto paths we never thought of.
We can search for love our entire lives and never achieve our goal, simply because we have not defined love for what it is. It's not a substance, as much as it is a feeling. It's the delight you find in a child's smile, the whisper from your angel or the loud thunder that rocks your very soul.
Love wakes you up, holds you, makes you warm and fills you with wonder. Love cannot fill you up until you "feel" it. Love is already within you. Most of us need only "activate" that love again. Turn it up, make it louder, let it flow. Like music, the very vibration of love can make you soar.
I liked to sing because singing brought me closer to love. The feeling inside when you sing is like love in motion. It's vibrant, wonderous, and lifts your spirit. Think of a favorite song. One you can hear and it changes your whole mood. That's love. That's the feeling love can bring you.
Next time you think you don't have love in your life, listen to your favorite song. Hold the feeling within and know what love feels like. Then hold that wonder again, every time you think you're not love. It should be obvious. You wouldn't be able to feel that love if it wasn't already inside of you."
