A Halloween "Ghost" Story for Twin Souls

Because this is a twin soul blog, today we thought we'd post something on the path that some people might not think about.  Twin flames, twin souls are spiritual relationships first and foremost.  Most often if you are on the path you are developing spiritually.  It would stand to reason then that you will begin to experience other phenomenon as well.

There is a stage in the twin flame relationship when there will be others who will not like the two coming together.  You may get interference from people on the earth plane and/or people in spirit.  In 1995 I had spirit interference.  As I wrote about in the book "Another Part of Me - An Extraordinary Tale of Twin Souls" someone was interfering with our communication.  Some readers of this blog have  said even now that Michael has passed there are imposters posing as him.  I can tell you that this experience is the one that helped me know what is an imposter and what isn't.

In the bible they talk about knowing someone by their fruits, the gift of discernment.  This is one area that must be experienced in order to learn it.  So back in 1995 I feared my interference would have a negative effect on my twin.  I told Michael I thought I had a ghost and thought it best not to communicate with him for a while.  I feared that it would have a detrimental effect on both of us.

Little did I know at the time that I had told a few people about our "connection".  I had trusted them, but instead of supporting me they became jealous.  To my face they were kind, but in the end it was the people closest to me that were the biggest deceivers.

Michael wrote a few songs about this time.  One I enjoy is posted below.  It's title is "Ghosts" and if you listen to the lyrics you may find it eerily similar to our story.  It's a short film and depicts the "monster" that people made Michael out to be.  When he says he is not alone you'll notice the spirits behind him - are they dressed in clothing from the French Revolution?  I don't know . . maybe you can be the judge.  Whatever the conclusion that you draw, in the end we will all have ghosts of jealousy.  The real lesson, however, will come when we learn to transcend them.

Pennsylvania, Washington may see ICE - A Haunted Whitehouse

In the wake of the hurricane hitting the east coast there are some still experiencing the massive effects of the storm.  It is important now, more than ever to trust your intuition.  There will still be some messes to deal with.  I'm being shown ice storms for those in the east coast area (Pennsylvania/Washington area), so prepare as necessary to bunker down for a few days.  May our thoughts and prayers go out to those who have been caught in the storms and may we ask for a calming of minds, hearts and winds in the coming days.

On a lighter side, a friend of mine was featured on a television program just recently.   Since Halloween is just a day away I thought it might be nice to feature his piece.  The original Halloween holiday in the United States came from a tradition of celebrating the dead.  Those of us in spiritual communities know that those that are considered dead, never really die.  Here in the video Mark talks about the United States Presidents who still seem to think they should have an influence on the White House:

The Hopi Indians, native to northeast Arizona, have many predictions about the end of this Age and the world as we know it. They believe the present age is ending and the beginning of a new Age is upon us. They do not predict certain dates, but they know by the signs where we are in history.

The Hopi have successfully predicted the Western movement and the railroads .Their prophecies warn that the people who first received the Light (China, Palestine, India and Africa) will start World War III. In an address of the Hopi Nation to the United Nations in 1992, Thomas Banyacya, Kykotsmovi, Arizona, stated that "the Hopi and all original native people hold the land in balance by prayer, fasting and performing ceremonies" and "if we humans do not wake up to the warnings, the great purification will come to destroy this world just as the previous worlds were destroyed".

For centuries, the Hopi prophecies have been passed down orally, but many are found on rock pictographs. The Hopi prophecies indicate that we are in the final days of this Age.

The Hopi speak of two paths - a lower path and an upper path. The lower path keeps us in harmony with natural law (technology) and the upper path keeps us in line with spiritual harmony and builds a bridge between the two paths which can lead us to a paradise in this world.

This skeptic does share the Hopi belief in that JUST talk will not help us to have real peace and harmony. The dire prophecies depend on our decisions, and as Christians we put our trust in Jesus Christ and believe the prophecy of Isaiah (which seems to be in harmony with the Hopi Indians prophecy) in Chapter 2: 4 which tells us: "And He shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they SHALL BEAT THEIR SWORDS INTO PLOWSHARES, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more."

This article was written by Patricia Cummings, Skepticism Examiner.  I recently met a few tribal members who have reiterated this same prophecy.  Looking back in history, many of the prophecies have been correct and it would only stand to reason that if we continue in our patterns, the earth too, will continue in it's own pattern.

The native americans have stated the they have been holding the land in balance by prayer and performing ceremonies, some of the same things that have been proven to help the sick heal, even if those parties were unaware that they were being prayed for.

With current earth changes and a hurricane hitting the US today, maybe it's time we listen to the message of the Hopis and help bring balance to mother earth as well by offering our prayers of healing for our planet and each other.  Great change can come if we each take responsibility for creating that change ourselves.

Twin Flames - A Readers Email

I received a beautiful email today I wanted to share with you.  I could go into details but I think it explains itself.  Twin flames are on the rise and we will be here to help:

A few months ago I started to research twin flames on the internet. Before I go any further I need to put in my own disclaimer. The term 'twin flame' makes me anxious as hell. I am grappling with enough already. Yet I will contradict myself and say I have experienced the same things that others who call this a 'twin flame' do. Moving on.  I finally gave myself permission to investigate this experience that has been a part of my life for over twenty years. One evening I got the courage and put the following on the Google search page; 'Twin Flame Famous'. I was not surprised at the amount of anonymous posts I found. People explaining they were not crazy yet needed some guidance. They were asking the familiar questions. What is this about? Is it true? What should I do? I was rather saddened to see how many of these posts went unanswered. The person who wrote them was nowhere to be found. Contact information expired or was erased. I felt sad and completely understood  what it must be like for the person asking for guidance and what it must be like for them to not be heard or taken seriously.

Then I found myself on Debbie's site. I read through rather quickly skimming for signs of validity. I went straight to her first post, specifically reading the responses from readers. Once again I was not surprised. Some believed her. People asked valid questions. Others felt threatened because it was they who had the connection, not her. Then the rest just questioned her motives. I found myself asking why we are so critical of someone's desire to share their truth? Why is it wrong to want to be heard or validated? Who among us does not want these things? 

A few weeks later I returned to Debbie's blog for a second look. I slowed down and read the exchanges between Debbie and her readers. What was clear to me was how loving she was to everyone. She thanked everyone for their opinion. She did not claim to have any special hold on Michael. She acknowledges he has touched many people and there are others who have had their own experiences. I bet this was hard for her but she did it. The Biblical phrase "By their fruits you shall know them' kept coming to mind. I could not help but be reminded of  the first time I watched Marianne Williamson on Oprah. Every time Marianne was challenged she responded lovingly. 

Then I read a blog post Debbie wrote about how hard it was after Michael died. I could no longer be silent. A soul sister yelled 'FIRE'. I put my personal self aside and showed up with my bucket of water. This journey is difficult. I have no doubt if you are reading this you know that already. After all I bet you are on this site looking for answers. Adding the element of fame to this experience is probably something only someone else having the similar experience can understand. 

I promise you we don't choose to be connected to someone in the public eye. As Lady Gaga so eloquently put it, 'Baby we were born that way!' Like Debbie awareness the awareness was there in our childhood. You may think we are nuts. Go ahead, we thought so too. Yet there comes a time when we are left with no other option than to acknowledge the truth. Why you may ask? Well despite how the outside world responds, the Universe keep telling us the experience is true in the most magnificent ways.

Integrity

Integrity (from Wikipedia) is a concept of consistency of actions, values, methods, measures, principles, expectations, and outcomes. In ethics, integrity is regarded as the honesty and truthfulness or accuracy of one's actions. Integrity can be regarded as the opposite of hypocrisy, in that it regards internal consistency as a virtue, and suggests that parties holding apparently conflicting values should account for the discrepancy or alter their beliefs.

The word "integrity" stems from the Latin adjective integer (whole, complete). In this context, integrity is the inner sense of "wholeness" deriving from qualities such as honesty and consistency of character. As such, one may judge that others "have integrity" to the extent that they act according to the values, beliefs and principles they claim to hold.




I am sure if you read the above definition you may be able to apply it to yourself, people you know, and/or situations. Recently, for instance, there has been news on Michael Jacksons death. AEG, the company who was promoting his series of concerts was asked to produce documents related to his death to the insurance company they were asking for compensation for their losses from. AEG, although they state they are a very professional company, doing no wrong, failed to produce a series of emails that were asked for as well as providing the insurance company with factual information. And although some may question the "internet conspiracy" theories on Michael's death, some may also find it fascinating that the Michael Jackson Estate executors are continuing to pursue monitary compensation from the insurance company. I am unclear as to whether this was a private policy held by the estate, by Michael himself, or an agreement they had with AEG. As far as I know, and of course I could be wrong, but most companies have to have grounds to file suit. If the policy was enstated to protect the interests of AEG for the entertainer they were endorsing for the show, what grounds would the Estate have to file a grievance unless they entered into a policy or agreement knowing the final outcome.




Back in the days of slavery there were many politicians that were considered highly respected and good men. Say a bad word about them and it would go unbelieved. One such man was George Washington. He was good wasn't he? We all remember the apple tree story right? Truth be known, however, true integrity stands not only outside but within an individual. In order for us to change anything in this world we must stand firmly in our beliefs of equality and peace, both inside and out. We have around us a system that likes to bend the truth to fit with what they want the public to believe. This systematic approach is within our governments and within our corporations and business, as evidenced above.




I've recently run into an article about the George Washington and his slaves. I don't think that many of us even think of him having them. However, his slaves were said to be treated very badly. In 2002 the government even tried to cover up the fact that they existed. Slavery was bad enough in and of itself, but trying to cover up the fact that it existed is just absurd. If you ever saw the movie "The Sixth Sense" where the boy is talking to dead people and the teacher asks him where the capital is, after you read this article you'll understand his answer and will maybe even have a new perspective on that part of the movie.

The Man in the Mirror Project - The Shifting of the Ego

Where the ego is concerned there is a block of memory.  What part of me is the ego and what part is my real self?  Sometimes we think of ego as a big head.  Sometimes we think it's the justification we feel in being right.  Ego is not either, but a part of yourself that extends beyond your reason.  It is the small voice that tells you to judge one another, to be part of the bigger picture, to let yourself be held captive to the thoughts and ideas that have been projected by society for eons.

Letting the ego go can be difficult.  We often find ourselves among friends and family who help support our ego.  Saying things like "He is the best marketing person you can find" or "See Johny Tate over there, he's rich."  Statements like this tend to make us believe that we are either rich or a marketing person, when in reality, we are neither.  God did not intend to create a "marketing person" or a "rich person".  Both are simply indications that there has been energy at play and the results that manifested show up as this or that.  The ego then tends to define these things by naming them as a rich person or a marketing person.

In yoga philosophy they have a story about a pen.  That when you first look at it and ask what it is everyone defines it as "a pen".  The story continues then, however, because to a cat it may be "a toy" or to a baby it may be "a stick".  Definitions then come from us.  Definitions and the boxing in of any idea about a person, a place or even a situation all come from the ego and our own perceptions.  When it is often defined as "Edging God Out", it goes beyond that.  It is the human constriction of an idea that is the ego.  It is constricted, not open to allow other thoughts or ideas to enter, it is tight, not allowing for the flow of God's energy through, and it is selfish, always seeking to fulfill itself instead of others.

Shifting the ego then is to be open to a situation, even though the ego may say it is bad.  To not judge, even though our ego says a person may be bad.  To give, even though we may want to take for ourselves.

Little shifts, little changes in thought and little deeds can all help us shift from the ego into the divine part of ourselves.  It is there that the ego begins to die and the true light of our being begins to shine.
