This morning as I sat to write it began to rain heavily outside. Looking, I could see the streams of water seemingly pouring out of nowhere. It reminded me of a previous post about the rain and how nature always reminds us of how we should live our lives.
I wanted to write something about freedom and independence. Tomorrow is the 4th of July in the States and we use that day to celebrate our independence and freedom, although these days it seems more about the picnics and BBQs.
When in the course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.
That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.
He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.
He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their Public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.
He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.
He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected, whereby the Legislative Powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.
He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.
He has obstructed the Administration of Justice by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary Powers.
He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.
He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.
He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.
He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil Power.
He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:

Simply put, in government, in the world and individually it is necessary to sometimes deconstruct our lives and rebuild for the safety, well being and happiness of ourselves, our families, all people, and the planet itself. I can't write alone. I mean I could, but truth be told I feel like I'm just the "typer" of things here since most of the writing is a gift and comes from either Michael or my guides on the other side. So this morning I checked in with them and was distressed about their message, only because it hit home, yet once again with me.
It was the rain that perhaps made it set in for me. I was reminded of when Michael had passed. They say that twin flames sometimes lead parallel lives and when I heard about his passing I sat motionless and numb wondering what was going to happen to me. Truth be told, I was waiting to die. My life was thrown up in shambles. My husband had been leaving bruises on my son and I had filed for a divorce. My parents sided with him and abandon me. I had to put my dog asleep and the friends I thought I once had said they couldn't be there for me, came out and said good bye, or never returned phone calls or emails.
I was left alone wondering what it was that I had done. Could I be that bad or could people be that selfish that they would walk away in the moments that I needed them most and in most cases make it worse, waiting for me to fall? My divorce, may pain, became all about them and what they were going through. It was in one of those reflective moments that one of my guides interjected. He said the reason this had happened was because I was being given a gift. The gift was freedom and in order for my new self to emerge from the illusion of my past I had to let that old energy and those old patterns leave. I had graduated on a spiritual front, yet I still held tight to wondering why people I thought cared about me left. Michael, I thought, was even taken from me.
As the months passed and I began to look back Michael re- entered my life. Elizabeth Taylor had just passed and was eagerly trying to get my attention. She told Michael that he had to tell me why he was still here. Michael died a physical death and with him, I died a spiritual death. So as we came back into union and discussed why he was here he simply said it was to help me. I have to laugh, because when I think back to that time and others, he has always been a man of very few words, never really going into detail unless he's asked. So he is here helping me, to help you and as we approach this very momentous time in history, he would like to remind you of why we broke off and entered into independence so long ago. The independence we speak of is not only for us, but for all all countries and all people - we all need and deserve to be free.

On the fourth of July, 236(and I'll just note the numerology of this number is number 11 - the spiritual messenger....remember it is 2012) years ago, he was one of the men that inspired the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
