A Lil Easter Quiz

Many are celebrating Easter, the holiday that rejoices in the fact that Jesus was risen again from the dead.  Because for me personally Jesus holds such a special part in my heart and learning I offer some Easter trivia for your Easter get together:

There's positive and negative to the month ahead. April is fraught with power struggles; especially caused by those who want to abuse their power. You could feel threatened, manipulated to personally attacked by someone on a power trip. This could also be going on within our government. You may even be a boss or leader in your field who is under attack from others who want to yield power. If this is the situation then you should just be prepared to stand up for yourself and not be manipulated into doing things you do not want to do. This is pretty evident the first week of April.

The first three weeks of April the Sun conjuncts Aries and everything is moving very fast. You can get a lot of stuff done, more than usual by using these energies to your benefit. You can make quick decisions too and accomplish a lot. At the same time the down side to mars in Aries is people are more prone to explosive temper tantrums if they don't get their way. Then starting on the 20th when the sun moves into Taurus things seem to slow down a little bit and people are more logical. They tend to think before they act

The eclipses are coming! This spring is eclipse season and you will be feeling the energy already even though we don't have one until April 25th followed by May 9 and again on May 24th,

Eclipses shake things up in our lives and create a lot of needed change. You will get a preview now and for the next several weeks of what the eclipses want to bring you. The Eclipses are Coming!

This is going to be an extremely pivotal Spring for everyone. To begin with, we have three eclipses in a row, which in itself is an aberration. Generally, we have two eclipses every six months. This spring, we continue with the Eclipse series in the fixed sign axis of Scorpio/Taurus; and we are concluding the Eclipse series in the mutable sign axis of Sagittarius/Gemini.

April 25, 2013 at 2:57 pm EDT begins the first of the three eclipses, and we have a partial Lunar Eclipse at 5 degrees of Scorpio. The sign of Scorpio is currently being tested to evolve. Saturn, the astrological taskmaster, entered the transformational sign of Scorpio on October 6, 2012 and will remain in the sign of Scorpio until September 18, 2015. Saturn in Scorpio is like cosmic therapy, which forces us to deal with our fears.

This partial lunar eclipse at 5 degrees of Scorpio speaks to the lessons and challenges of Saturn in Scorpio: The need to let go in order to transform. The full moon in Scorpio conjoins Saturn, and what restricts and blocks us will be released. Mars, the planet of action, is close to the sun and spurs us to move forward. The South node in Taurus is close to Venus, the ruler and planet of love.

Relationships, which are no longer healthy or which block us from the past, need to be addressed and let go. This full moon eclipse will force us to face the blocks.

A Lunar eclipse occurs approximately every 6 months, and it is an EXTRA powerful Full moon, so get ready for high emotions in April and May. A Lunar Eclipse occurs when the earth is between the sun and the moon, and the shadow of the Earth falls on the moon. Lots of wild things happen around lunar eclipses, and you might encounter a lot of odd behavior in people. Also, because relationships will on edge this next six weeks or so, now is not the time to bring up heavy issues or to instigate battles. During eclipse time, people can literally be "eclipsed" from our lives.

Look in the news and around you for unexpected break ups, fated meetings and even deaths. You may hear from people from the past too.

The next eclipse in this series is an annual Solar Eclipse at 19 degrees of Taurus, and it occurs on May 10, 2013 at 7:28 pm EST. A Solar Eclipse occurs every 6 months. A Solar Eclipse occurs when the Moon stands between the Sun and the Earth, cutting off the light of the sun.

A Solar Eclipse is always a new moon, and Solar Eclipses tend to bring in new beginnings in people's lives. Solar eclipses are excellent to set new intentions. I've found that both Solar and Lunar can be bring beginnings and endings. However, I usually find that Solar Eclipses tend to usher in new people, new opportunities, and new relationships.

This Solar Eclipse at 19 degrees of Taurus conjoins Mars, the planet of action, and Mercury, the planet of communication. This will be a very busy time with communication and business, and it will trigger new beginnings. The fact that the south node, the area that we need to release, is also conjunct this new moon eclipse, emphasizing the fact that we need to let go.

Taurus is the sign of the collector. The collector needs to let go of earthly possessions, people, and patterns, which keep him stuck in the physical plane. This eclipse series helps to induce spiritual transcendence.

The third eclipse in this series is a Lunar Eclipse at 4 degrees of Sagittarius, which takes place on May 24th, 2013 at 11:24 pm EST. This is a momentous full moon eclipse, as it is the third eclipse in a short period of time and the second lunar eclipse, which means more release and endings. It is also the final eclipse in the Sagittarius/Gemini sign axis.

Full moon eclipses are a time of culmination and release. Mercury, the planet of communication, conjoins Jupiter, the planet of expansion and abundance. This will intensify and magnify emotions heavily, so tread lightly with all of this intense emotional energy. Nervousness and heavy emotions will be strong.

To add to this, there is a third exact square of Pluto and Uranus, which takes place on May 20th, 2013, and the need for freedom, expansion, reform, and endings is at an all time high. The spring will be highly active for everyone, particularly in the month of May.

Neptune, the planet of confusion, makes a challenging square to this lunar eclipse.

Lunar eclipses shed light on matters and reveal information, which up until now has remained hidden. This is an excellent time for creative ventures, such as writing, playing music, painting, etc. It is also great for prayer, meditation and chanting. Unhealthy relationships and circumstances will not survive these three eclipses. This spring is the time for many breakthroughs.

Your Personal Resurrection - Wake Up

A week or so ago I met someone who told me about his life.  He said a few years ago he "woke up".  Everything in his life changed.  He and his business partner split, his children were having trouble in school, almost everything was going haywire and he was left wondering where his life was heading.

Several years ago I had to file for a divorce, my parents walked away, family walked away, as did people who claimed to be friends.  At the same time I had to put my dog asleep, pick up the pieces of my life, find a new home and job for myself and children and somewhere in between try to come with the reality that Michael was murdered.

We had one thing in common.  We both were in the process of focusing on and really "getting" it spiritually.  I had been engrossed in meditations, yoga and study as had he.  Why then would everything suddenly fall apart?

When your consciousness raises to a new vibration the old life, your old belief patterns can no longer be sustained.  The energy of your very being has changed and as a co creator of your world you will usher in new energies, new patterns in your life and begin to discard the old.

Going through this experience feels like you are being punished.  The underlying question for me was "What did I do to deserve this?  All I was doing is trying to be better".   I had no idea what was actually transpiring in my life and that it was all just the resurrection of a new life.  Knowing this, helps us in the transition.  When you wake up your consciousness shifts and so does the consciousness around you.

There is another man who had a "wake up" call in a different way.  His name is Jonas Elrod.  He was featured on the Oprah show this past year.  He says that he "was leading an ordinary life until he woke up one day to a totally new reality.  He suddenly could see and hear angels, demons, auras and ghosts."   As a result he put a film documentary together to share his journey.  I watched it last night and found it interesting that he said the people on the other side wanted us to know about them.  They want us to know there is a reality we have yet to notice on this side of the veil and as the consciousness changes on the planet it will be time for many of us to "wake up".

Twin Flames and Sexual Union

I haven't heard many people talk about sex and twin flames.  Maybe I haven't looked hard enough, but I have had several people ask me what I thought about it.

Twin flame connections are different than our every day connections.  Many people have been known to go out of body and have sexual experiences and others can even project to one another.  Most twin flames, however, view the sexual experience as union, and not just something for physical gratification.  You are engaging with one another's energy and as such will be sharing energies and blending the two.  In my opinion, you wouldn't want to do this with just anybody.

Many times just before a physical meeting with a flame you will have very real dreams of being with them.  Very real because they are.  You are taking the spiritual dimension and joining into union on the physical plane.  That's part of the plan - union on the physical level and it always starts on the spiritual plane.

Mankind has made quite a few misconceptions about sex.  We have often distorted the view of sex as something recreational instead of something that is a sacred union.  The mere act of sex is the joining of two - this is union in it's ultimate form; becoming whole and becoming one.  Most often those that enjoy sex for recreation do so repeatedly, sometimes even becoming a sex "addict".  They are never satisfied because they have not entered into the sexual union for what it was meant to be; union; they have entered into the act based on misqualified thoughts about what they think it is and what they feel it will do for them.  Here again they begin to engage in a repetitious pattern and repeat the cycle.

Ultimate union with a flame, however, comes not only into the physical body, but the spiritual as well.  You are joining spiritually and the feeling of bliss and union is not just at the base of the spine  or genital regions of the body, it transcends into an orgasmic event of explosion through all the chakra centers and literally encompasses the whole being: body, mind, and spirit.  Once fulfilled on this level, sex will never be just sex again.  It will be union, for that is what we strive for with sex to begin with; union with another.  Often, however, we cheat ourselves, engaging with people who don't even resonate with us and after we may find we feel used or sorry we did it in the first place.

Twin flames, because they are connected spiritually to begin with, not only experience physical closeness but the level of closeness is also felt by the spiritual counterparts of the body as well.  For instance if you hear your lover speak in your ear, flames may hear each other telepathically.  If you see your lover before you physically, a flame may see what their lover is envisioning in his or her mind.  For every one of the five senses on the physical body, there is a corresponding sense on the spiritual body.  The experience then is magnified and creates something in wholeness and love.  This is true union and divine ecstasy.

The song "Butterflies" describes the feeling even when you are not in physical proximity to one another with the lyrics:

Audio Book Complete - Maya Angelou; In and Out of Time

The final audio version for the book Another Part of Me - An Extraordinary Tale of Twin Souls is out of production and on it's way to Amazon.com and iTunes!  April Grace Lowe did an amazing job narrating the seven hour memoir on audio these past three months and I am both grateful and excited to share this work with the public.

Twin Souls and Synchronicity - Chapter 21 Audio Book

There are many times when synchronicity will align with you and your twin.  Events, dates, times and places will all synchronize to bring the two together.

This chapter is a demonstration of that.  The year was 1994 and I had an overwhelming urge to go to Disney World.  I had no money and no place to stay and no "earthly" reason why I should go, just the thoughts in my head and the feelings I was having that seemed to pull me there.

Michael had just told me that he was going to settle out of court for child molestation and said that it was highly suggested that he get married.  The date of May 20th began to ring out to me as it did when I was only twelve years old.  I began to make plans and when I did I found myself face to face with not only Michael but Lisa Marie Presley as well.

1993 Chapter 20 Audio - How I Know For Sure Michael DIDN'T Molest Children

This past weekend my son and I had a discussion about slavery.  He asked a lot of questions about who started it, who was president during it and who ended it.  Our discussion led us to talking about some of the most prominent people in the world who inspired change.  We agreed that they made the changes in the world, like ending slavery, by standing up against it and speaking out.

Recently I read that they are once again trying to bring up the charges of child molestation to the children about their father in the depositions and at the upcoming AEG vs Katherine Jackson trial.    I too thought Michael was guilty of child molestation at one time, but found out differently.

I have posted another chapter from my book that talks about the 1993 child abuse accusations and how I know for sure he did not. You will also find the words that I spoke to him during that time; "Oh my God I can't believe what I saw on the TV this evening" in the lyrics of the song Scream later recorded as well as my name Debbie and other confirmations of the conversations that took place that year. Griffin and Sabine

"Griffin Moss is an artist living in London who makes postcards for a living. He is unhappy and lonely, though he is unaware of these feelings. The Man in the Mirror Project - Moving Up the Chakras

In recent posts and in my videos for the book tour (also posted on Youtube), I talked about clearing out our past misqualified energies to align ourselves with our highest self in return to the twin.  Today we would like to talk about some of that work.  In each chakra, or energy center we tend to hold certain emotions.  Your emotions play an intricate part in your life system as a whole.  This is the vehicle which most of your life is operated out of.  If you feel fear, you react, if you are in love you act on that, if you are fearful of losing money, you look for ways to avoid it.  Let's face it, most people are living out of fear, not love and in order to make it's transition we have to face our fears first and recognize them before we can let them go.

Where is fear?  In the chakra centers (pictured at right) fear lives in the root chakra.  Our root chakra holds base emotions that make us act and react on the earth plane.  We function through this chakra when we interact with fear based thoughts.  Abandonment, rejection, loneliness, scarcity, almost anything that leaves you feeling alone and afraid.  To counteract the energies stored here we must relive the events that put them there in the first place.  Most of us know how we feel so we would start there.

Let's say I feel "abandoned". My mother gave me up for adoption when I was born and I have carried with me the feeling of abandonment all my life.  As a result I look unknowingly for people who will abandon me again.  I look for it subconsciously because this is my comfort - it is all I know and all that "feels" right to me.   The energy feels the same as the energy already residing within me.  I "resonate" to these people who carry the same energy.  Do you see how this "feels" right but is not necessarily "right" for us?

To release this pattern, we have to review the circumstances of the original thought to begin with.  Did your mother abandon you?  Or did your mother abandon a baby that she could not care for?  The first question makes it personally about us and we internalize the abandonment.  The second views the situation for what it was and not the story we have made up about it, letting us come to terms with what really transpired and leaving it in the past.

This is only one example of clearing this center.  Visualizations, self questioning and reflection are our best tools in working through the misqualified energy stored here.  Try and ask yourself today, what am I afraid of?

1992 - The Audio Book Sample/Brotherhood

Columbia Pictures now forms part of theColumbia TriStar Motion Picture Group, owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment, a subsidiary of the Japanese conglomerate Sony. It is one of the leading film studios in the world, a member of the so-called Big Seven

So how did AEG and Sony get such a great relationship? Well it looks like according to this article by MTV written only four days after Michael's passing, that Michael made a deal with AEG for a live album? I didn't know that AEG cut records too unless this agreement was made with Sony and in that case wouldn't have that been said in the Conrad Murray testimony when Kenny Ortega testified that the only cameras present were that of Michael Jackson's? Does someone have a copy of this contract?  That might be handy in court.

A RE-POST on Reincarnation and the Players in Michaels Life

The last post was a look back at reincarnation and how it has an effect on our present life.  As I said, most often we are faced with the same circumstances and people in order to grow.  With that in mind, I decided to go back and see the circumstances surrounding the French Revolution, Mozart's part and the historic Diamond Necklace Affair.

Rumors for the downfall of Marie Antoinette began just after she publicly supported Mozart's work where he wrote the Opera exposing truths about the current politics in that day and age.  Going through the records, I find the name of the man who started the rumors in order to start the French Revolution.  His name was Cagliostro and was leading a conspiracy with another man named Casanova in Italy.  Sometimes, as you may have noticed in the previous post, we bring in certain characteristics from our past lives, even resembling the facial features of that life.  So lets take a look at the following pictures and see if you might notice any similarities.

In the book The Definitive Book of Body Language by Allan and Barbara Pease most of the book is spent going through and analyzing different body language signals with drawings and photographs. For example, when a child tells a lie they will often cover their mouth. This signal is also common with adults

Closing arguments for the trial are today and we'll expect a verdict soon.  I don't feel however, that this is in any way shape or form the end of the story . . .

Pre-Trial: Let's Get the Party Started-UPDATED

As we approach another trial in the case of Michael's death I felt the need to review what he had said to me at the beginning of this blog and when he died back in 2009.  What can I offer that may not have been heard and how can I help are the main components of why I even started the blog to begin with.

There is a date that keeps popping out to me that he spoke of a few years ago.  He said "It was all over the day I signed the contract on March 25"  I assumed this was the contract he signed with AEG, however, in researching I found no date at all on the AEG contract with Michael and surprisingly found an interesting termination letter that was dated on the 25th that Michael says he knew nothing about and looks very incriminating since it was sent to his ACCOUNTANTS and asks that ALL of his records be sent to another address:

Why if Michael was preparing for a tour suddenly change accountants?  

Further, I have posted previously the copyright that AEG filed for retaining rights to the This is It footage dated and recorded on 7/2/2009.  Michael died on the 25th of June, which was a THURSDAY.  The  interview with Randy Phillips (posted right) not only exposes that they had ALREADY sent in for copyright of the production on this interview date of 6/30/2009 (or 7/1 as this video says) (that would be three business days to get an idea to produce This is It  . . oh that's right they didn't take footage..or did they . . so many cameras, but so little responsibility for them) anyway that's pretty darn quick, not to mention his claims that he didn't hire Dr Murray when in fact in the interview posted at the right is his own documentation when he states implicitly "We hired him."  The moment anyone puts someone on their payroll is the minute their loyalties are for the person paying them.

UPDATE:  So who is Barry Siegel?  The third party on the forged Jackson will:  

A long time attorney for the Jackson family, John Branca, music executive John McClain, and accountant Barry Siegel were named to serve as Co-Trustees of the trust. Nonetheless, Barry Siegel signed a letter on August 26, 2003, in which he declined to serve as a Co-Trustee, leaving Branca and McClain to serve as the Co-Trustees. Both still serve in this capacity today as well as Co-Executors of Michael Jackson's estate.

The Man in the Mirror Project - The Inner Child

For many of us we grow up and have come to believe we are adults now and not children.  My grandmother used to tell me, however, that she still felt inside as if she was 17 when she was 83.  I completely "get" that.  Our bodies may make us look older but inside remains the same emotional body makeup that we had when we were young.  We can change some things but others seem to creep up from seemingly out of no where and sometimes we are left questioning "where did this come from?"

I used to have a friend that moved to Texas a few years ago.  She was able to leave everyone behind she said and stopped smoking, lost weight and began a new life for herself.  She was gone for several years and when I spoke to her she was proud of her new life and her ability to break free from her past.  She moved back to Michigan and said when she saw her family she was brought back to the same place immediately.  She started smoking again and feeling the same way she had before she left.  All her work, she said, was gone.  What happened?

This is the power of the inner child.  Some things will happen in your life that will literally put you back to your childhood.  Not by way of imagination, but in a way of feeling.  If you were made to feel guilty for expressing emotion, lets say, then when you express it now you will feel guilty as well.  Sometimes we think that we are responsible for others behavior and try to change them.  In essence, we are trying to make up and change what we should have had to begin with; encouragement perhaps, love and support.

Sometimes receiving all of what we need from a parent may be expecting too much.  They too had childhoods with scars that have yet to be seen.  So in order for us to heal we have to take the reins and begin to value our inner child.  We need to look at him or her through the eyes of an adult.  Someone who is caring and concerned for our welfare.  When we do we might see a different image of ourselves than we had before.  We may see a helpless child reacting to the circumstances of their life in the best way they could.  If you are continuing in this pattern it is here that you can break it.  Noticing how you may have coped as a child, how you felt and how those feelings and thoughts creep into your present life will help you to break free.

In yoga we say to journey inward and just "notice" how your body feels.  In a sense this is doing the same, except we are working with our emotional body here, not just our physical.  So just "notice" how you are feeling when you get upset or down with yourself.  Then try and recollect a time when you were a child when you felt the same way.  Sometimes these are clues to breaking the cycle.

Man in the Mirror Project - Raising Awareness within Yourself

Raising awareness means to come clean with your dirt.  What do I have to learn?  Who can I count on?  What am I looking to get out of life?  These are all questions each one of us should be asking ourselves.  The answers to the questions can be quite telling.  Are we listening to what we are becoming aware of or are we repeating the same mistakes?

Openness to awareness like this allows us to be guided more properly on our journey through life.  It is valuable to know you are loved, but even more valuable to know the hidden routines you fail to look at within yourself on a daily basis.  Self inquisition then is one way to begin the process of unraveling this mystery.  Begin with asking yourself questions like why do I think this way, or how do I feel about this person.  Ask yourself why you may keep certain people in your life and then may not want others there.  Trust what you get and don't judge it.  The answers will be the key to your current state of awareness.  You don't have to change anything, you just have to notice.

We mention these things because it is this exact type of hidden agenda that we all have that can keep us from uniting with our flames.  If we continually sabotage ourselves without our knowledge, how will we ever learn from our mistakes and move on?

It has been said before that you can't control what someone else does, but you can control how you respond.  Sometimes no response is the best policy.  Other times we have to look at our part in what has played out in our lives and change something.  It is the realization in the "what" we have to change that will be the key indication that you have been successful in raising your awareness.

Petitioning the Karmic Board and for Spiritual Advisors

Just like on this side of the veil we often may decide to hire an attorney to advise us, or a professional marketer to tell us what we need to do, we often decide to engage the services of spiritual advisers.

Almost everyone comes to the earth plane with at least one spiritual adviser, guardian angel or flame to guide them.  Normally there are 7 (there is that number again!) that take on different positions of service.

1.  The Gatekeeper :  The guide that will guard your doorway in not allowing interference with your spirit or being.

2.  The Messenger Guide - This guide gives you messages like "you left your keys in your old purse."

3.  The Health or Dr. Guide - Gives information on your physical well being to you to others that can help you.  (If you are sick you may want reach out to say hey! :))

4.  Guide of Vocation - This could be someone who has a similar experience in the vocation of your choosing

5.  Money or Financial Guide - Don't blame him for your troubles! He'll help you if asked with financial issues in your life.  Not everyone has one.  If this is something you feel you'd like just ask.  Remember guides are there to help "guide" you, not do it for you.

6.  Spiritual Guide - This could be a guide that has experience in the religion you have chosen or someone with similar belief patterns as you.

7.  Helper Guide/Teaching - Inspires the guided to new realms of belief and helps reveal patterns of thought.

When you are first starting out in spiritual studies you may call on them by name; such as "I call on my Gatekeeper to protect my door as I meditate".  Later, when that guide reveals themselves to you, you can call on them specifically by name.  Their function is to help guide you, not do anything for you.  They can make suggestions, and give you advice but it is ultimately your choice in the doing.  If you are anything like me,  you'll probably think you know better and make a few mistakes not listening before you realize they can probably see a little more than you can on this side of the veil.

The Karmic Board is comprised of other individuals and bodhisattvas that help you decide the path of your life.  There is more to this, such as the Book of Life containing all of your past lives and events in them that can be reviewed.  Sometimes this book will and should be taken into consideration.  For here we are concerned with the path of the "soul" not the personality.

You may want to petition the Karmic Board for different reasons.  Most often you will already be in contact with them in your sleep state if you are here on a mission of service with your flame.  Asking for their guidance and direction is admirable and encouraged, however, should never be taken lightly.  These beings are highly evolved and although we like to think we might interact with those of the spiritual world the same as we do here, they are quite a different story.  For as much love as they can bestow, they also carry the power behind it.  It's been said that the Archangel Michael, who was created out of love and in service to the father, wielded the devil himself out of heaven.  He is both powerful and loving equally and here is a wonderful demonstration that loving does not mean you are a doormat.  They do not put up with any foolishness and have had lifetimes of experiences to know every delusion one of us can try and fool ourselves with.

But say you want to receive their guidance or the guidance of a spiritual guide.  The first step would be to set your intention.  What are you looking for exactly?  What do you intend to do with the information and how do you feel it will assist you with your growth?  Then decide in your mind that you are sending your request to the universe.  You can do this before you go to sleep, asking for a dream to reveal the answer to you and that you will awake and remember when it is received or you can ask during a meditation and see what transpires in feelings, pictures and/or thoughts.  You can also write the Karmic Board a letter then burn the letter visualizing it being sent to the universe.

With all of these avenues it is best to pray for protection and visualize yourself enveloped with pure white light.  Spiritual practices can take us to the highest of highs, but if we are not protective of ourselves you could end up on the lowest of lows.  Be conscious of your decisions.

A Glimpse at Spiritual Politics - The Karmic Board

Yesterday in Detroit Kwame Kilpatrick, the former mayor of the City of Detroit was found guilty on 24 counts of racketeering and extortion.  Sometimes it is only time that has to play out in order for some things to come to light.  Even in Michael's death, I expect the same.

Here on earth we have built systems like the judicial system to keep people in line and uphold justice for the many, but what about on the other side?  Do we just die and all live in heavenly bliss for eternity or is there a little more to it?

There is an order for all things.  Even in nature do we see the progression of the birthing of a flower.  It doesn't happen all at once, it happens gradually over time and in it's own fashion.  Twin flames also come together gradually and in their own time and in their own fashion.  Nothing can happen all at once because there is an order and learning that must be kept in divine time.  Sometimes our souls need a "check up" to see how far along we have come and what might be the best course of action for us in our lives.

Many years ago, when Michael was living, we tried to come together physically.  We often would come face to face with one another in the same location.  Staring at each other, then sometimes not even being able to do that.  Other times we'd just look at each other and giggle.  We could not, however, be present in one another's physical life.

This sounds strange and for me at the time it was very perplexing.  However, I would often hear my divine guidance telling me not to approach him and often would have dreams of people at a table deciding my fate.  After a while of trying to make something happen after you find out who your twin flame is, you learn to put it on the back burner and wait for divine direction and guidance.  In the year 2000 I found out about a benefit that was going to be in LA.  I thought to go and asked Michael if he was going.  What a nice place to meet, I thought.  It was a benefit for children and would be a nice platform for our work together, or so I thought.  I still had not met Elizabeth Taylor and wanted to.  I was so amazed at her real friendship with Michael and wanted to thank her personally for what she had done for him and standing by his side for so many years.  Michael said he was going so I took my wishes to the "board" that night and asked for their approval.

I know some people think that flames are just drawn together and it's all earthly, but it's not.  You WILL have counsel and there IS a process.  These unions are not just for love, they are for planetary service.  My requests were taken to the "karmic board" many times and even on this occasion I was refused.    I did not understand it at the time and it all seemed like a very cruel and unusual punishment.  Since, however, I have come to learn to respect their decision and even agree with it.  I was not ready for a physical union with him and it would have been detrimental to us both and to our work had it come to fruition at that point in time.

The experience was as if I was present at a board meeting in a conference room.  The members there voted on whether or not they thought it was a good idea.  One member in particular, pounded his fist against the conference table and adamantly denied my request.  I was kind of mad, to tell you the truth, but something inside let me know that he was right and by all means should I obey his request.

Michael and Elizabeth ended up going to the Carousel of Hope Ball and the photos of them remain my favorites still to this day.

So who is this "Karmic Board" and what is their function?  For me I only know that they are a group of individuals who help the life streams navigate their life paths here on earth.  They know what karma we have to over come and what we have left to do.  They help govern our spiritual development.

The Man in the Mirror Project - Looking in the Mirror

We begin to heal ourselves when we start to face the truth about our realities and not the stories that we have made up about ourselves and other people along the way.  The shroud of mystery is taken off and for the first time perhaps you are able to look at yourself in a brand new way.

Realization of the truth takes some time and effort.  Like a lie that is spread in the mass consciousness, we ourselves tell ourselves daily the lies we want or need to believe.  After some time they become our truths and it takes a great deal of effort to expose those lies and release them into the light.

We often can start by looking at patterns in our lives.  Are there certain events that continue to happen in your life, certain circumstances, a certain kind of person?  Most often these are clues to some of the patterns at play inside of us that we haven't taken notice of, or have taken notice of, but have yet to work through them.  When there are thoughts about ourselves or thoughts that have been placed by other people like your mother saying you are too fat, or your father saying you'll never amount to anything; They can sometimes be very difficult to overcome.  We tend to believe them and in doing so, we FEEL that way about ourselves as well.

Louise Hay has a wonderful way of setting affirmations for thoughts like these. Try the following exercise from her book "You Can Heal Your Life" regarding some of the patterns in our lives:

Thoughts create our future experiences.  The words we speak are indicative of our inner thoughts.  Sometimes, the words used don't match experiences we describe.  These are the lies we believe.  So begin to unravel them start with a list:

Get a pad and pen and write on top of the paper "I Should".  Make a list of five or six ways to finish that sentence.  Sometimes it's difficult to start, sometimes it's difficult to stop! (lol) But list at least five and when you are done return to the first one and working yourself down again ask yourself  "Why?".Write the response next to the "I Should" statement.  Again working from the top, notice your responses and ask yourself if they are true.  Most often responses are something like this:

My mother said I should

Because I am afraid not to

Because I have to be perfect

Everybody does it.

I am too lazy, too short, too tall, too fat, too thin, too dumb, too ugly, too old, too young

Again starting from the top re read the list one at a time but this time begin each sentence by saying "If I really wanted to I could . . . "  Then, "Why haven't you?"  Now you may see yourself circle back to the original "shoulds" and the pattern is exposed.  You are free to choose to change your life in this moment.

The Man in the Mirror Project - Tapping into Love

What is it to love?  Is love a thing to be had or something to give?  And, if it is something to give where does it come from and how do we engage it?

Love is the power that holds the entire universe together.  We are the fabric of love and love is the thread that holds us together.  We would not exist without love.  Love is the all encompassing power of the universe and as such dictates the power of all things.  The birth of a child, the radiating face of an angel or the wonderous sight of a mountain range alive with fire from the sun.  All of these things are love.

The animated sequence of events that transport us to another state of being and another state of mind.  Love is everywhere.  I look for love and see love in myself when I am writing music, dancing or creating something artistic.  I feel love when I am moved to hold the door for a stranger or help a child.  Love is the force that makes us muster up the power to stand up for our children or to stand up for our rights and the rights of others.  Love is the acting force that brings forth creation in the birthing of a flower or the startling sight of a brilliant star.

Love is all of these things and more.  Tapping into that love is the knowing without a doubt from deep within your being you are acting from a place within yourself that is not something that is thought of with your mind, but felt with your heart.  This is tapping into love.

The Man in the Mirror Project - The Illusion of Love

If you asked ten different people what their definition of love was you would most likely get ten different answers.  In relation to a soul mate or a twin soul, most answers would sound something like this: "Somebody that makes me feel complete."  "Somebody that loves me unconditionally."  "Somebody who cares for my every need."  The common denominator in all of these statements is "me".  When most people talk about love, they are really talking about getting their emotional needs and desires met by another person.  Is this really what love is?

What happens when we do find this kind of love?  Most often we get jealous if another person pays attention to them.  We expect them to behave a certain way and begin building the relationship (in our minds) on own needs and wants.  "Love" then becomes something that is possessive, restricting and demanding.  We now want to "own" what we love, but do we now love what we own?

When we lose that "love" we say that "love hurts".  Why does it hurt?  Because what we have lost is the supplier of our emotional needs and wants; everything that that person supplied to us.  Rarely is the other person even in the picture at this point.  For the focus when "love hurts" is always on the self and what "I" lost, what "I" wanted, and how "I" feel.  This is more properly termed "emotional dependency", not love.

Most often love is controlling.  The force of this love or "emotional dependency" can be so strong that people often find themselves staying in abusive relationships and call it love.  The man who beats his wife claims he loves her, the woman who stalks an ex-boyfriend calls it love.  This is all too characteristic of someone calling "control" and "emotional dependency" love.

In other areas of our life we "bargain" for love.  When a loved one dies, we again feel the pain of our loss.  We begin to "bargain" with God.  Sometimes we feel guilty and try to make "deals" with God or at other times we believe God will condemn us because we have not done the "right" thing. For even when it comes to God we make his love "conditional" on doing the right thing and if you don't - you better get to a priest quick and say five Hail Marys!  lol

What kind of God would give us freedom of choice then demand that we only make His choices?  Most religions have made God what "they" need him to be based on "their" needs and "their" need to, can I say it again? . . control.  And so here we are once again, extending what we do on an individual level into society, systems and our world itself.

In essence what mankind currently calls "love" is nothing more than smoke and mirrors that cover up our own confusion and egocentric needs, fears and wants.

Real love, spiritual love is pure and powerful.  For this is the real love that started our very creation.

Love is a funny thing to describe. It's so easy to feel and yet so slippery to talk about. It's like a bar of soap in the bathtub, you have it in your hand until you hold on too tight.

Some people spend their lives looking for love outside themselves. They think they have to grasp it in order to have it. But loves slips away like that wet bar of soap.

Holding on to love is not wrong, but you need to learn to hold it lightly, caressingly. Let it fly when it wants. When it's allowed to be free, love is what makes life alive, joyful, and new. It's the juice and energy that motivates my music, my dancing, everything. As long as love is in my heart, it's everywhere.

The Man in the Mirror Project - What it means to love yourself

Michael Jackson gave an interview to Oprah Winfrey on February 10, 1993. He grimaced when speaking of his childhood abuse at the hands of his father; he believed he had missed out on much of his childhood years, admitting that he often cried from loneliness.  When asked about his sadness, he replied he was better.  When asked how, he simply stated "I started to give back."

When we think of love we often think of others loving us or us loving them.  Seldom do we think of self love and seldom is it that we actually know what real self love is.  The image I get is of Gilderoy Lockhart from Harry Potter.  He was an author Harry met who wrote a book called "Magical Me".  Just by the title you might get the impression he really did love himself, but the kind of love we are talking about here takes on a different tone.

The love we receive from others is often ego based love, but the real love for ourselves comes from our spiritual selves.  To explain, here is a passage from Phil Nuernberger, PH D from his book "From Loneliness to Love":

"Loneliness has nothing to do with other people or their love.  It is the people we love and who love us that make us feel lonely.  We never miss our enemies.  We don't feel lonely when we think about people whom we don't like.  We only miss the ones we care for.  So how can getting more people to love us do anything but make us more lonely?

We feel isolated and alone because we aren't sharing our love with those around us.  It is not the love we receive, but the love we give, that frees us from loneliness and isolation.  We can search the world for the perfect partner, we can have countless loverrs and friends and we can receive love without end.  But unless we ourselves express love we will never be free from lonliness.

The love we desperately seek flows from the very core of our being.  This is not the self-love that psychologists talk about.  It has to do with becoming love itself.  This is the expression, and the power, of the spiritual Self.  As long as we remain unaware of and neglect this spiritual Self, we will feel lonely and isolated.

Loneliness is in essence a spiritiual problem.  When we are isolated from the spiritual Self we experience loneliness.  We compensate by finding lovers and friends, and we develop philosophical insights and religious beliefs and faith to fill the emptiness.  But we cannot put an end to loneliness until we touch the power of our human core, the spiritual self.

Human beings are not the sum total of the physical sensations of the body, the thoughts and beliefs of the intellect or the ups and down of emotional reactions.  Our real identity is spiritual.  We confuse the tool (the personality and all its resources) with the owner, the spiritual self.  As long as we remain unaware of this Truth within ourselves we know ourselves only as the ego-self.  Consequently, we confuse love with emotional attachment.  . . . ."


. . . . pure love of the spiritual self is clouded and colored by the ego-self and we must learn to free ourselves from the illusion we mistakenly call love.
